An innovative organisation in the software engineering space is looking for a Java Developer. This role involves working on diverse software projects that drive digitalisation across Germany using agile methodologies and open-source technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyse complex technical requirements and find innovative software solutions for diverse clients.
- Design and implement user stories using Java within a collaborative team environment.
- Develop automated tests to ensure high code quality and system reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in pair programming to distribute knowledge and improve standards.
- Utilise and optimise established Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
What We're Looking For
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Java development using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with development tools including Jenkins and Git for version control.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman in cloud environments.
- Professional fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and legal authorisation to work in Germany.
