About The Role

As a Java Developer (m/w/d) at SEITENBAU, you will play a vital role in driving forward projects that leverage innovative technology to address socially relevant topics. Your work will contribute to transforming visionary ideas into tangible solutions, supporting the digital transformation in Germany. You will collaborate with diverse clients and teams to develop high-quality software, primarily using Java, within an agile environment. The position offers flexibility regarding location, with options for Berlin, Konstanz, or remote work, and is a full-time, permanent role. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing user stories, developing automated tests, conducting code reviews, and actively participating in continuous integration and delivery processes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant educational background, such as a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification. You should have solid experience in application development with Java, utilizing modern frameworks like Spring Boot, and tools such as Jenkins and GIT. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman, especially within cloud environments, is desirable. A fundamental understanding of containerization concepts and an interest in DevOps practices are beneficial. Additionally, strong motivation for agile working methods and a commitment to continuous learning about new technologies and trends are essential. Proficiency in German at a minimum C1 level is required to ensure effective communication within the team and with clients.
