About The Role
We are seeking an engaged and highly qualified Java Enterprise Developer and Architect (m/w/d) to join our team at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our software solutions by developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of our existing systems and the implementation of innovative concepts to streamline operations and improve service delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including platform specialists and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our applications. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java programming and enterprise application development. Essential qualifications include experience with Jakarta EE and MicroProfile, particularly JMS, EJB / CDI, and REST APIs secured with JWT. Familiarity with JEE application servers and Quarkus (MicroProfile implementation) is required. Candidates should have practical knowledge of test frameworks such as JUnit, and demonstrate a self-driven, structured approach to work, with proven experience working in self-organized teams. Strong analytical skills and the ability to abstract complex problems are essential. Additional advantageous skills include knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, OpenAPI, application integration across different platforms, and familiarity with build tools like GitLab CI and Maven. Experience with cloud-native applications, especially on AWS, is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement concepts for the integration of self-developed applications and standard software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with platform teams to incorporate operational aspects into application development, ensuring reliable and maintainable systems.
- Support application development activities by providing architectural guidance and technical expertise.
- Gather and evaluate functional and non-functional requirements from operational and development perspectives to ensure comprehensive system design.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies within the team.
