About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable backend systems using Python, designing and implementing APIs, services, and integrations that are reliable and performant in production environments. Your work will directly impact the core functionalities of our online recruiting platforms, ensuring they operate smoothly under real-world loads. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape the architecture and technical direction of our systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing, deployment, and monitoring processes. Your expertise will help maintain and enhance the stability, scalability, and maintainability of our backend infrastructure, driving innovation and efficiency in our product offerings.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have several years of professional experience in software development with Python, demonstrating a strong commitment to clean code, testing, and system maintainability. You possess a hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to technical challenges and a solid understanding of modern backend architectures. Experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux is essential, along with routine exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Git-based workflows. Ownership and responsibility are key traits, coupled with a desire to contribute meaningfully to team projects. Fluency in German and English (minimum C1 level) is required to facilitate effective communication within our international team.

- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable services capable of handling real-world traffic and data loads.

- Continuously enhancing testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability to ensure high system reliability.
- Participating actively in architectural discussions and technical decision-making to shape the future of our backend infrastructure.
