Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d) - Remote
A leading provider of online recruiting solutions and SaaS portal technology is looking for a Senior Python Engineer (m/w/d). You will develop scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations that power high-reach job markets across Germany and Austria. The role focuses on building robust architectures and maintaining high standards for code quality and developer experience.
What you'll be doing
• Developing production-ready Python backends, APIs, and system integrations
• Designing and implementing scalable services capable of handling real-world loads
• Improving CI/CD, deployment processes, performance, and system observability
• Collaborating on architecture, system design, and strategic technical decisions
• Enhancing testing coverage and maintainability for long-term system stability
What we're looking for
• Extensive professional experience in software development using Python
• Strong expertise in Django, PostgreSQL, Docker, Grafana, and Linux
• Proven track record in CI/CD automation and Git-based workflows
• Advanced proficiency in both German and English (C1 level minimum)
• High standards for clean code, testing, and technical ownership
