We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to support a project focused on improving process transparency, monitoring, and analytical capabilities within a complex operational environment.
The assignment involves designing and implementing data processing pipelines, monitoring systems, and interactive dashboards, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role, with travel to the office in Berlin or Frankfurt once per quarter (less frequently upon agreement with the client) for 4–5 days.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data ingestion and processing pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Implement automated data import routines (validation, parsing, error handling)
- Design and evolve database schemas and data models
- Support analytical activities aligned with project goals
- Build and enhance dashboards to visualize KPIs and operational metrics
- Implement trend analysis, anomaly detection, and comparison views
- Configure alerting and notification mechanisms
- Generate analytical reports and outputs
- Deliver senior-level Python development (full-stack when needed)
- Deploy and configure solutions in container-based environments
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot runtime issues
- Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer
Requirements:
- Strong Python backend development experience (Python 3.11+; ideally 3.13-ready)
- Solid expertise in SQL & relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Proven experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) with logging and alerting
- Experience with dashboarding/visualization tools (e.g. Dash, FastAPI + React, or similar)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and workflows (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and Helm
- Experience generating reports (Word/PDF)
- fluent English for technical communication & documentation
- German required for coordination with stakeholders and operators
