The Role
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager for our Enterprise Marketing team who is eager to help us develop positioning, segmentation, content, and GTM strategy for Morningstar Direct in the EMEA market. The role will report to the Associate Director of Regional Product Marketing and will need to be comfortable working with several key stakeholders in product management, sales, marketing, and success across the globe. You will be part of the new yet growing regional product marketing team dedicated to driving revenue potential for the Enterprise business outside of the US by crafting tailored marketing strategies and enabling regional client-facing teams. This position can be based out of Frankfurt or London and hybrid office attendance is required.
Job Responsibilities
• Adapt global Morningstar Direct positioning, GTM components, and marketing programs to best resonate with EMEA clients’ needs and differentiated from competitors.
• Act as the product marketing lead for all regional initiatives. Driving internal awareness for our regional strategy by connecting dots and creating enablement tools for product development, product marketing, international marketing, customer success, and sales.
• Deeply understand and document the needs of our EMEA clients to craft and execute the region’s go-to-market strategy for new product releases.
• Support regional demand generation and content marketing campaigns with expertly crafted persona-specific content.
• Own the creation and maintenance of foundational regional marketing content including, but not limited to, message maps, value propositions, market sizing, segmentation, competitive intelligence, buyer/user personas, buyer’s journey experiences and sales enablement materials – regionalizing and translating (with the assistance of linguists) assets into local language where appropriate.
• Lead voice of the customer work in EMEA in the form of win/loss interviews, NPS studies, and client surveys. Leverage these findings in the development of a marketing roadmap, influence the product roadmap, and create sales enablement content such as case studies, testimonials, and videos.
• Use a data-driven approach to the development and measurement of marketing campaigns focused on driving retention, wallet, and market share growth for the business.
• Perform other duties as necessary from time to time.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a product marketing or product management capacity
• Financial industry and or SaaS/PaaS experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree

• Comfort with using data to make decisions, strong business acumen, and focus on metrics that drive revenue.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced product marketer to build and execute the GTM strategy across our Morningstar DBRS credit rating products and services for our U.S. market, and deliver data-driven market and audience insights, impactful product positioning and messaging, and effective demand generation campaigns and sales enablement resources. This role is a great opportunity to drive growth and make a meaningful impact on one of Morningstar’s largest and fastest-growing business units.
The Product Marketing Manager will partner closely with the global Senior Product Marketing Manager and the Digital Marketing, Central Marketing, and Business Development teams to drive pipeline and revenue growth in one of our key markets. To be successful in this role, you’ll have strong experience developing GTM strategies and translating those strategies into ROI-driven demand generation campaigns that materially impact the bottom line. You will also have exceptional copywriting skills and a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
The role reports to the global Senior Product Marketing Manager in our Chicago office. We are operating in a hybrid environment (3 days/in office).
