Responsibilities
• Partner with Salesforce’s Global Strategic Sourcing group to draft and negotiate key consulting, professional services, business process outsourcing and contingent staffing agreements for Salesforce’s internal business clients located in AMER and LATAM.
• Partner internally with other Salesforce Legal colleagues to ensure that privacy, employment, intellectual property and compliance provisions are consistent with Salesforce standards.
• Partner with Global Strategic Sourcing, finance, insurance, technology infrastructure, security and other internal teams to ensure agreements are consistent with internal corporate policies and processes.
• Design and implement process improvements, including creation and update of legal templates and playbooks, and design and delivery of training sessions.
Required Skills/Experience
• Undergraduate degree and law degree.
• State Bar membership.
• 4-6 years law firm and/or in-house transactional experience, with such experience focused on negotiating inbound services agreements (e.g., MSAs and SOWs) for a wide range of professional services, consulting services, business process outsourcing and contingent staffing.
• Experience in supporting a procurement department as an internal client.
• Experience with negotiating privacy and security terms from the perspective of both a data controller and data processor.
• Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly responsive and collaborative attitude.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and handle competing matters, especially during periods of high volume such as the end of a fiscal quarter.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business stakeholders.
• Familiarity working with multiple contract templates.
• Ability to identify, evaluate and provide risk-appropriate solutions to the business based on sound and practical legal and business judgment.
Beneficial Skills/Experience
• Experience working within a fast-paced global technology company or similar industry.
• Experience in negotiating employee benefits-related agreements.
• Experience with intellectual property terms and applicable law related to work for hire agreements.
• Experience working with an internal contract management system.
• Experience working within Slack.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese languages.
• Flexibility and a desire to learn and grow.
• Good sense of humor.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $176,800 to $243,100.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
