About the role:
As a Junior Designer at Hays, your role is focused on supporting the Creative Studio team in creating and delivering high-quality marketing communications that promote Hays as the UK's leading specialist recruiting expert. You will be responsible for designing materials in alignment with Hays' brand guidelines and templates for various project types, including recruitment advertising, brochures/PDF reports, internal/external communications, social media graphics, paid advertising assets, and web assets.
What it looks like day to day:
- Creating designs based on Hays' brand guidelines and templates for a range of project types.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the department and across the business to understand and execute design briefs.
- Assisting the Head of Creative Services (HoCS) with larger creative campaigns/projects.
- Managing your own projects and working closely with stakeholders within the
department and across the business.
- Managing digital assets and ensuring proper "housekeeping."
To be successful:
- Possess a design qualification.
- Have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Be able to work effectively on projects both as part of a team and independently.
- Demonstrate organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Showcase strong creative skills.

It would be beneficial to have:
Prior experience in a similar design role and a Familiarity with Hays' industry and target audience which knowledge of best practices in design and marketing communications.
