The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and proposing solutions that meet these needs. This role typically involves negotiating contracts, managing client accounts, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify potential business clients through networking, cold calling, and industry research. Develop strategies to engage and secure new accounts.
Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients. Ensure that clients are satisfied with the company’s products or services, address any issues, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects, highlighting the benefits of the company’s products or services tailored to their specific business needs.
Negotiate terms and conditions of sales contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Stay updated on industry and market trends that can affect sales.
Develop effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets, aligning with the company's overall business goals.
Generate and submit sales reports and track sales performance against targets. Provide management with insights and feedback gained from client interactions.
Work closely with other departments, including marketing and customer support, to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications :

Proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships.
Able to convey information effectively in both one-on-one and group presentation situations.
Skilled in securing profitable agreements and tactfully handling objections.
Able to develop strategic sales plans based on company goals and market trends.
Competent in analyzing data and sales statistics to inform approaches and report to upper management.
Comfortable using CRM software and other sales applications.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is often required.

Experience :

Experience in sales, especially B2B sales, is highly desirable. Previous roles in a specific industry may also be beneficial depending on the sector the company operates in.

Job Requirement

1-3 years + or above of managerial experience.
The Key Account Sales Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related filed. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
Communication skills are a must have for this position, in both verbal and written form. These skills are especially necessary in building relationships with consumers and external partners. Additionally, the clarity of communication between the Key Account Sales Manager and Sales Executive and collaborating personnel will also be a determinant of the overall performance in the department. The Key Account Sales Manager must also be in a position to convey even the most complex information and insights in his reports in a simple, clear, and convincing manner, tailoring messages to suit various audiences.
The Key Account Sales Manager must also be a story-teller who is able to sell the brand to potential clients and secure more sales for the business. In addition to this, the Key Account Sales Manager must also be a great listener with ability to clarify and resolve issues and concerns of consumers, external partners, senior personnel, junior personnel etc.
The Key Account Sales Manager must be highly proficient in Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint, which are necessary for the creation of visually, and verbally engaging reports and presentations for senior sales management, external partners, junior sales personnel, collaborating personnel, and stakeholders.
A candidate for this position must also demonstrate strong analytical skills and an ability to assimilate complex data and information from disparate sources and process it to address a certain need or issue in the sales department.
