The Opportunity:

 

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in growing ERAU’s social media presence related to increasing enrollment across the university.  This position works closely with various departments to ensure that Embry-Riddle’s social media communicates the university's message and brand effectively.

In addition, this role will help manage digital advertising campaigns and reporting in tandem with assigned media buyers to promote Embry-Riddle’s programs and initiatives.

As a key member of the Digital Strategy team in the Enrollment Marketing and Digital Strategies department, this person reports to the Associate Director of Social Media Strategy.

This in-person position is responsible for content creation, editing written and graphical elements and posting across all ERAU social media platforms.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing and social media engagement, with a strong background in data and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy for the university, in line with overall enrollment marketing goals.
• Manage social media channels (including but not limited to Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) and ensure they are updated regularly with relevant and engaging content.
• Execute a solution-focused approach to moderation of online commentary on social media – both positive and negative.
• Contribute to the creation of content calendars and capitalizing on social media trends to align with ERAU enrollment goals.
• Assist in creating detailed reporting of social media and digital advertising analytics monthly including recommendations of ways ERAU can improve social media and digital marketing campaigns based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all social media and digital advertising content is on-brand, aligned with the university's voice and messaging, and appropriate for the intended audience.
• Work with university leadership to manage crisis communication through social media channels.
• Stay up to date with social media and digital advertising trends and innovations and recommend new strategies to stay ahead of the curve for the university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in media, marketing, communications or a related field
• 1+ years of experience required managing large-scale social media accounts, preferably in higher education or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of social media best practices and platform algorithms.
• Preferred experience with editing both photos and video within Canva or a similar platform.
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Preferred experience with Sprout Social or other social media management software.

What you will be working on

• Execute key research projects for the Media and Publicity department, in accordance to strategic communications’ objectives.
• Manage external vendors for end-to-end research projects, including briefs, procurement, questionnaire/research design, fieldwork and data collection processes.

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of work experience in marketing research, with prior experience in opinion polling/brand sentiment and/or digital marketing projects.
• Experience in overseeing the entire lifecycle of research projects, from gathering initial requirements to presenting comprehensive findings to management.
• Experience in digital marketing concepts and strategies, particularly integrating marketing research insights with analytics for personalised CPF communications.

Job Scope

1. Develop and execute video content strategies based on brand and product positioning to attract and retain fans and convert them.

2. Responsible for the operation of media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and leading local platforms in Singapore and other Asian markets, to increase followers.

3. Create high-quality video content related to recruitment, human resources management, career development, etc., including planning, shooting, and editing.

4. Optimize content and strategies through data analysis of user behaviour and feedback.

Requirement

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as film directing, editing, or related disciplines.

2. Work Experience: Over 1 year of experience in content creation or marketing-related roles.

3. Industry Experience: Prior experience on the internet, mobile internet, e-commerce, or new media industry is preferred.

4. Professional Skills:

- Skills in video content creation, editing, and shooting.

- In-depth understanding of marketing, social media, and content operations. Priority given to those with local resources.

- Strong market awareness with the ability to keenly grasp market trends, hot topics, and their development directions.

5. Management of social media:

We are looking for a social media content specialist who is creative, innovative and can think out of the box and be able to handle/oversee and manage our social media platform for both daily posts and larger campaigns. You will also work with our marketing analyst and social media agency to ensure all the brand communication meets the targeted brand consumer. This role is going to give you exposure to an integral part of the startup business.

Responsibilities

• Create social media campaigns and top-line communications strategies for our branded house social media account.
• Manage and oversee the content creation process on all social media platforms which includes daily posts or larger campaigns.
• Involved in all steps of social media activity, from observing trends and preferences, brainstorming, and planning to execution.
• Create a social media plan and execute the plan along with the content creator.
• Identify the Brand’s KOL and coordinate with third parties or ambassadors.
• Track and observe social media tools and identify how to utilize the tools.
• Gathering insight and analysis for what content works well on our platform.
• Schedule all posts to all social media accounts of the Brand. (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter).
• Manage social media report by weekly and monthly.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of event planning for Medical Education courses and initiatives
• Ensure corporate spend is within Health Care Compliance (HCC) guidelines
• Research resources, make site visits, and lead pre-event meetings when necessary to
  help staff make decisions about event design
• Lead on-site specialist for large scale Medical Education events, including management of registration desk and printed collateral.
• Reconcile and submit payments for Corporate meeting Card and routinely monitor charges to ensure proper usage
• Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials
• Conduct Venue sourcing and negotiations via Cvent Supplier Network
• Utilize technology such Zoom, Cvent, On Arrival, Social Tables, Crowd Compass and others as necessary
• Generate and download reports: registrant, attendee, polling responses, and Q&A
• Tracks and processes all changes, including updating hotel confirmation numbers and
  cancellation numbers, room name changes
• Provides reports such as: rooming, participants list, ground transportation, group air, arrival and departure, food and beverage, translation etc.
• Maintain accurate Open Payment reporting for the US and OUS required reporting at
  the country or regional level as needed
• Track HCP expenses and event budgets in CVENT event registration system as
  appropriate
• Adherence to S+N business conduct policies and procedures. Maintain the highest
  standards of ethics and compliance.
