Roles and responsibilities:

• The Senior AM Engineer will lead projects from proof-of-concept to deployment and be responsible for project timeline and deliverables.
• Work with strategic business units (SBUs) to develop additive manufacturing parameters for aircraft components. Identify problems, define objectives, risk assessment, develop methodology, analyze test results, and provide recommendations.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to iHub AM team, perform material characterization and parameter development for both polymer and metal printing.
• Responsible for AM processes in composite polymer, LPBF, and DED. Develop and optimize parameters for production, and need to be hands on in this role.
• Provide feedback to design engineers to continuously improve the AM part production process.
• Work closely with QA manager/engineer to establish procedures and maintain quality standard and compliance.
• Provide administrative support, if needed, to avoid disruption on production operations.

Summary

Responsible for product line quality and efficiency so as to achieve production KPIs. Introduce productivity improvement through Lean processes, automation, preventive maintenance and better

tools / jigs / fixtures design. Managing engineering projects such as Digitalization, Automation, Localization, Cost Saving and NPI. Support Industry 4.0 digitalization of the entire production lines in Singapore Site.

Key accountabilities

• Managing engineering projects including Industry 4.0 digitalization
• Responsible for product line yield and quality
• Support/lead Continous Improvements and Lean initiatives
• Support ISO9001, ISO14001 and Iso45001 audits
• Conduct RMA/DOA evaluations
• Incorporate ECs in production and ensure its full implementation
• Create, update work instructions and train production technicians
• Support mass production of NPI
• Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible engineering records as well as maintain accurate BOMs, routings, work instructions and ISO documents

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Science disciplines. Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / production engineering
• Experience in Industry 4.0, Lean and Six Sigma
• Lean 6 sigma and Industry 4.0 experience
• Knowledge in analytical instruments will be an advantage
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001and 45001
• Experience in developing Work Instructions, BOM structure and routing hour
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
