• Coordinate and optimize inbound and outbound planning execution tasks to secure goods delivery within the agreed parameters.

As System Support trainee you will strongly contribute for achievement of below tasks:

• Work closely with the local team to improve logistics operations through our warehouse management systems.
• Monitor daily and weekly operations and identify potential risks or improvement needs.
• Provide reports related to the performance of the systems.
• Addresses issues to systems vendors.
• Take part in the regional Warehouse Management Systems meetings, propose change requests & performs the ROI analysis of new change requests on behalf of local unit.
• Ensure the WMS complies with relevant audit requirements.

We are looking for a People & Culture Specialist to support 2 key assignments:

People & Culture 

The main assignment is to support People & Culture function in implementing and maintaining HR processes in accordance to Inter IKEA Group guidelines, working methods and local legal requirements and contribute to make IKEA being a great place to work in the local market.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Support in hiring process including job requisition, posting, screening and co-ordination of interviews.
• Support new hire and onboarding process including introduction plan, registration of co-worker welfares and Inter IKEA Group HR processes in Workday.
• Maintaining co-workers’ personal record and correspondence in compliance to local PDPA and EU regulation GDPR.
• Support application in expatriate’s employment and dependent passes.
• Support in-house training sessions, practicalities, sourcing external training and registration with local Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
• Support co-worker termination process in accordance with ISMY termination policy.
• Versed in ISMY internal polices and able to provide advice related to P & C matters.
• Secure good quality relations with local external stakeholders and external service providers.
• Contribute to secure and verify HR-related compliance with the labour laws and internal and external regulations.

About the assignment

You secure excellence in total Supply Chain operational performance and its further development, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders. You contribute to reach customer perceived availability at the lowest total cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability and other supply chain costs securing optimal replenishment solution).

Your main assignments as Supply Operations Developer are:

• Secure operational performance in Supply Chain from end-to-end perspective within given cope, according to (i.e. Handling Risk of Shortage, Range Changes, Handling commercial actions, Handling high inventory, Delivery solution optimization, Slot management at sender and receiver side, Flow optimization execution, Expansion execution, EQU improvements) and working methods, always having in mind the customer value Challenge and develop current logistical set up by identifying patterns of underperformance, non-compliance, deviations, and potential risks. Engaging respective stakeholders, together performing root-cause analysis and lead corrective actions. Undertake initiatives to develop operational performance, utilizing efficiency increase opportunities to bring excellence in operations and reach agreed objectives.
• Validate and optimize sending and receiving capacities as a link between all Supply Chain stakeholders.
• Lead high-quality communication with on time- and fact-based supply information among stakeholders from the whole Supply Chain.
• Follow up on execution of the Supply Plan (the compliance of Stakeholders, the execution of market-relevant plans in connection with the Market Operation Forum (MOF).
• Adjust Delivery lead times based on performance and follow up On Time Delivery (OTD).
• Plan and execute replenishment plan for new logistic units (Store and Customer Distribution Centers within established market).

For our Distribution Center in Port Klang Malaysia, we are currently looking for an Operations Support Specialist responsible to enable delivery of goods within the agreed lead time and quality, at the lowest possible operational costs, with the customer in focus and the total supply chain in mind.

Our Operations Support Specialist will:

For our Distribution Center in Port Klang Malaysia, we are currently looking for a System Specialist who will be responsible for the set up and optimization of our warehouse and order management systems, securing efficient workflow in the warehouse and integration with automated systems.

Our System Specialist will:

• Work closely with the local team to improve logistics operations through our warehouse management systems.
• Ensure roll-out and necessary training for implementation of new releases with the aim to maximally use its functionalities. Create and maintain training documentation and resources.
• Monitor daily and weekly operations and identify potential risks or improvement needs.
• Provide reports related to the performance of the systems.
• Addresses issues to systems vendors.
• Take part in the regional Warehouse Management Systems meetings, propose change requests & performs the ROI analysis of new change requests on behalf of local unit.
• Ensure the WMS complies with relevant audit requirements.

About the assignment

The purpose of the job is to secure excellence in logistical operational performance, and its further development, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders; contributing to reaching customer perceived availability at the lowest total cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability and other supply chain costs).

Job specific key tasks and responsibilities:

• Logistical ("flow") performance: Secure total logistical operational performance from end-to-end perspective by booking optimal transport solutions under the consideration of IKEA supply chain stakeholder preconditions. Monitor & Follow-up the shipments to secure availability for our customers
• Daily operations: Reschedule and/or cancel shipments in case of logistical operational deviations based on Global Working Methods. Suggest improvement potentials for parameters and set-ups affecting delivery planning and execution and Global Working Methods
• Deviation Handling: Work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. carriers, suppliers) to solve operational deviations. Follow-up operational deviations and search for solutions to avoid operational deviations in the future
• Capacity Deviations: Secure transport capacity by monitoring and requesting spot solutions within agreed frame
• Communication: Secure proactive communication with internal IKEA supply chain stakeholders and external Service Providers, in particular in case of delayed and/or changed deliveries
• Data Management: Secure correct data in our Transport systems and provide reasons codes to secure proper visiblity for any deviation in our planning process. Alerts concerned parties about incorrect or missing information required for the delivery planning and execution process
• Plan and manage deliveries: Actively contributes to the development of the Delivery Operations process, system and the Global Working Methods within the Supply Chain
• Extra-costs: Follow-up NCAs (Extra-costs) and investigate all cases. Decide based on legal documents and secure documentation of each case
• Secure minimum EQU in our trucks together with Senders
• Escalate to Supply Operations Manager in case of deviations in our planning process
