As part of the Customer Success Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our banking and fintech customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our loyalty platform. This includes onboarding, managing and growing the customer’s rewards program by developing loyalty strategy, managing the customer relationship, and delivering major loyalty initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Customer Success Manager in onboarding new clients onto our platform.
• Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to streamline the onboarding process.

• Assist in communicating with clients regarding onboarding progress, timelines, and requirements.
• Conduct training sessions for clients to educate them on our products and services.

Job requirements

• 1-3 years of customer success experience in SaaS/product-led organisations, with a plus in loyalty/banking/fintech industries.
• Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills, client facing experience is a plus
• Understanding of loyalty and CRM projects, with commercial, marketing, technical, and analytical acumen.
• Ability to navigate and work fluidly in a fast-paced, changing environment, with solid organisational and multitasking skills.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to take initiative and work independently.

Job Description:

• Independently manage all aspects of office operations, including organizing meetings, maintaining office supplies, pantry supplies and overseeing repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with our employee engagement committee and People Success team to ensure a positive office environment and employee experience.

About the Core Billing

Core Billing provides the foundation for client invoicing, billing & subscriptions across Ascenda's many services across our ecosystem. Think tiered subscriptions, usage computations, billing cycles, dates, currencies model computation for providing to our customers a clear, transparent and rewarding experience for using Ascenda's many services.

The Billing Experience team builds client-facing services that helps Ascenda's customers quickly start, efficiently operate, and easily scale any business model without code or complex integrations. Our end users depend on our many Rewards Products to make it easy for themselves and their customers to manage subscriptions, invoices, and payments. We deliver these capabilities at scale to manage thousands of checkouts a day, for businesses ranging from exciting, fast moving fintechs to large, world-spanning banks & airlines.

The Billing team is responsible for charting the strategy and laying the rails required to track, meter usage & purchases at scale. These building blocks include a standard model serving pricing logic across all apps, an event-driven tracking framework, an invoicing service, and more.

These systems will span the entirety of our ecosystem across every product in Ascenda including our points ledger, payment acceptance, loyalty member enrollments & onboarding, travel bookings, fraud and this list continues to expand.

Through our Core Billing team you will be responsible for supporting key BFF services & workflows to within & across our various product teams. This year some of the key projects you'll be aiding us includes:

• Metering and data collection - for example if we bill based on number of redemptions or number of points issued, how to pass that data on accurately.
• Invoicing and payments
• Prepaid credits (for every product in Ascenda)

These will form the backbone of enabling high scalability, quick performance and easy operations for our pricing & sales of services within Ascenda. The Opportunity with Billing SaaS Experiences

Core Billing provides the foundation for client invoicing, billing & subscriptions across Ascenda's many services across our ecosystem. Think tiered subscriptions, usage computations, billing cycles, dates, currencies model computation for providing to our customers a clear, transparent and rewarding experience for using Ascenda's many services.

The Billing Experience team builds client-facing services that helps Ascenda's customers quickly start, efficiently operate, and easily scale any business model without code or complex integrations. Our end users depend on our many Rewards Products to make it easy for themselves and their customers to manage subscriptions, invoices, and payments. We deliver these capabilities at scale to manage thousands of checkouts a day, for businesses ranging from exciting, fast moving fintechs to large, world-spanning banks & airlines.

The Billing team is responsible for charting the strategy and laying the rails required to track, meter usage & purchases at scale. These building blocks include a standard model serving pricing logic across all apps, an event-driven tracking framework, an invoicing service, and more.

These systems will span the entirety of our ecosystem across every product in Ascenda including our points ledger, payment acceptance, loyalty member enrollments & onboarding, travel bookings, fraud and this list continues to expand.

Through our Core Billing team you will be responsible for supporting key BFF services & workflows to within & across our various product teams.

This year some of the key projects you'll be aiding us includes

• Metering and data collection - for example if we bill based on number of redemptions or number of points issued, how to pass that data on accurately.
• Invoicing and payments
• Prepaid credits (for every product in Ascenda)

These will form the backbone of enabling high scalability, quick performance and easy operations for our pricing & sales of services within Ascenda. They'll lend us the resilience to scale the self-service subscriptions & upselling of Ascenda's many services to all our clients globally

About the Role

As a Staff Engineer, you will lead the selection and rollout of patterns and frameworks within your feature team. You will be expected to demonstrate leadership through the quality of your architectural work. In conjunction with your team's Engineering Lead, you will ensure that the way we build our solutions is of exceptional technical quality.

Our engineering team takes ownership of the technical construction of key systems. If you are passionate about big engineering problems and want to shape how we scale this across our entire ecosystem then this role is a great fit for you!

You will be responsible for the technical roadmap, architecture, and quality of our services & rollout across multiple loyalty services.

Responsibilities:

• Scope & lead large technical projects and architecture that’ve massive impact in Ascenda & our numerous clients
• Maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and scalability.
• Design and implement elegant APIs and their underlying infrastructure. Serve as a role model for software design and scalable systems architecture across Ascenda
• Own problems from end to end, managing complexity and engaging directly with other Engineering teams, Technical Project Management etc to think through everything from business impact, to reliability and operability, to the ease of integration, and the expressiveness of our Data strategy & Events architecture
• Serve as a role model for high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter.
• You're a passionate problem solver: Weighing up pros and cons of new tech solutions before implementing them with your team.
• Teach and mentor ICs and managers to become the next generation of experts at Ascenda

Job requirements

What we're looking for:

• Strong technical background, with prior experience in similar roles such as Tech Lead, Engineering Manager or Staff level engineering roles.
• Experience building large-scale, high throughput distributed systems on the Cloud. Hands on experience with designing, building and operating event-driven architectures. Experience in building & maintaining SaaS Billing systems a bonus
• Fluent with our main backend programming language - Ruby, or, having a strong aptitude and desire to pick up and be proficient in Ruby and/ or Typescript
• Have experience in developing technical roadmaps/RFCs to communicate technical strategy and vision
• You are a thought leader- Who enjoys formally coaching other team members
• Passionate about mentoring and/or leading a group of engineers, guiding and coaching them for high performance
• Operational tooling experience such as Grafana, StatsD, Datadog, Prometheus. If this sounds like something you would be keen to hear more about, hit apply.

We are seeking a strategic and execution minded Recruiter with a proven track record in the tech, fintech, or financial services sector, showcasing the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, high-growth environment. The position is a hybrid role based in our Singapore office.

As a Recruiter, you will partner closely with senior leaders in our US and Singapore HQ to support and manage the Talent Acquisition portfolio for our Sales, Marketing, Product, and G&A organizations panning across APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for business roles, including GTM, marketing, G&A, and product roles.
• Build and manage active and passive candidate pipelines utilizing diverse sources such as: LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X Ray searching, event attendee lists, etc.
• Execute on talent acquisition strategies, including initiatives for diversity hiring, talent marketing, and recruitment events to align with organizational goals.
• Perform talent mapping to provide guidance on market trends, talent availability, and competitive landscape
• Collaborate with and influence stakeholders to streamline and enhance effective hiring processes, optimize role leveling, and ensure competitive and fair compensation structures for all roles.

What you bring to the table
