Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer Intern located in our Austin, TX site.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Help Team Bring up new Test equipment EOL/STR stations
- Preform QRR, before releasing to production
- Learn ways of pulling test yields, trends in failures and develop ways to track which testers are causing failures below yield goals
- Review process for testing Inverters and provide ways of improving yields based on data from each testers
- Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:
- Currently enrolled Senior student pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering
- Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior EE internship experience
- MS Office Suite
- Highly collaborative, teamwork oriented, creative and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
- 3.0 minimum GPA
