Job Summary:
The Learning Operations and Quality Manager SE Asia will serve as a liaison between Disney Cruise Line and our vendors in APAC region, responsible for training, development and quality assurance. They will consult with client areas to understand and analyze performance and provide recommendations. They will collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions. In addition, they will partner with Disney Cruise Line Leadership to develop and maintain the quality assurance standards that align with operational goals. They will facilitate training programs in domestic/international locations for all a variety of audiences at all levels of the organization, providing performance feedback as needed. The Learning Operations and Quality Manager SE Asia based on client area, will arrange training sessions, create/maintain training calendars, manage the training scheduling process and support the administrative and logistical aspects of training delivery and implementation.

About the Role
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is inviting applications for an 18-month secondment opportunity for the role of Faculty Education and Quality Manager.
The postholder will act as the Faculty oversight for developing and managing all aspects of student education services provided to our student body. They will play a leading role in the development and delivery of the Faculty’s student experience strategy and support its implementation within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The post-holder will work closely with colleagues in our nine Schools to ensure our processes and delivery meet the needs of our students. The post-holder will support the Head of Faculty Education and Student Experience, to develop mechanisms to support our Schools in the following key areas: Degree Apprenticeships, Assessment, Quality Assurance, Student support, Employability.
This is a strategic and enabling role and the postholder will be expected to act on their own initiative, developing strong working relationships with colleagues across the Faculty and the university, analysing data and making recommendations. The postholder will perform a range of activities and duties whilst exercising initiative and judgement in determining work priorities and scheduling tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
About You
The successful candidate will have a good Honours degree, demonstrable experience of student administration and be quantitatively literate, with the ability to interrogate and interpret complex data from multiple sources to compile accessible, informative management information. A good understanding of academic teaching in higher education, and knowledge and experience of the various stages of the student cycle are essential. Experience of project/change management is desirable.
