RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and establish professional or social networks with the local community to leverage on community resources and volunteers to meet the various needs of the clients in the centre.
• Maintain and manage relationships with the community stakeholders for sustained efforts in volunteerism, and opportunities for clients in community participation, integration and inclusion
• Coordinate recruitment, deployment, training, and appreciation of community stakeholders
• Connect, consult, and collaborate with relevant community partners, and be a catalyst for action in raising disability awareness and inclusion in the relevant boundary where the centre operates
• Implement, review and evaluate programme impact on service users, identify and analyse trends and needs in Disability service development. Share and communicate findings in relevant internal and or external platform(s) to ensure relevance in service / sector improvement.
• Design and plan programmes / activities to promote learning, participation and meaningful engagement between the clients in the centre with the local community and volunteers.
• Implement the programme / activities in collaboration with the Training Officers and / or Multi-Disciplinary Team members in the centre

About The Role

About The Role

To support and promote children’s well-being through. in supporting our Tinkle Friend Services, which includes the helpline and chatline, developing resources to support children’s mental well-being through various channels. To develop evidence-informed group work and workshops for children and work systemically with educators/parents, so as to support the holistic development of the child. Conduct rigorous assessment and provide basic psychosocial, behavioural interventions to children in need. The purpose is to ensure that child’s mental well-being is supported so that they can be resilient and grow up strong and healthy.

• To support in the Tinkle Friend helpline and chatline to provide support to ensure children’s safety and promote well-being.
• To co-develop, design, plan, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and review services to address children’s related concerns (i.e bullying, protective behaviours, resilience, anger management, etc)
• To support in building children’s mental wellness (e.g building resilience, supporting them to regulate their emotions, equipping them with protective behaviours, building their pro-social skills) and other emerging needs (e.g bullying) through programme development and facilitating groupwork and workshops for children.

The Temporary Senior Executive will support the PhD Programme Office in the development, design, delivery, performance monitoring and review of PhD programme, in collaboration with other key staff, external and internal stakeholders. The individual will be required to contribute to the administering of the research (PhD) programme.

Responsibilities:

• Administer admissions workflow through collaboration with NTU and internal stakeholders – arrange interviews, collate Conflict of Interest, prepare interview files, set up and host video conferencing (zoom) interviews, consolidate interview scores

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive contributes actively to the programme needs of Befriending and Respite services under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS). He/she will be involved in the planning, coordinating, and executing of programme events and activities that suit the needs of persons with intellectual and developmental needs and their families. CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of Befriending and Respite programmes include Me Too! Club, MYG, Project Bubbles, Befriending Services, and Customised Respite Care. The key vision is to reach out to the unserved and underserved, and to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.

A proactive thinker, resourceful and responsible team player, he/she works closely with colleagues across MINDS to plan each programme and to guide volunteers/vendors in a smooth delivery of programme activities. He/she will also connect and coordinate with other organisations to execute collaborative, inclusive and client-centric programmes, to manage communications and feedback from stakeholders, and to conduct outreach activities to other organisations and the community.

1. Programme and Event Coordination

• Conduct programmes based on client needs

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the delivery of cognitive programs and services to assist in the day-to-day operations and to meet the safety and quality aspects of care delivery to the dementia participants.

Program Facilitation & Development

-Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clients, caregivers, volunteers and the community.

-Conduct the following 3 different aspects of the program:

o Cognitive Engagement Hour Facilitation; and

-Understand and familiarize the profile of each participant, and take note of their responses, change of behaviour and any other key noting areas that require attention

-Assess the participants’ profile, including, for example, cognitive, behavioural and functional abilities, to tailor appropriate care according to their needs.

-Execute the planned Cognitive Activities suitable for the profile of the participants with the right posture of speech, positive and effective language/instructions, and to engage each participant as effectively as possible.

-Observe instructions and guidelines to ensure conformity in the facilitation of programs, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, handle and manage the participants with the duty of care, and exhibit the spirit of a team player to ensure cohesive work relationships for the best interest of our participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communities of Care (CoC) focuses on developing a comprehensive care network in service domains that are essential for holistic care for older adults and their caregivers. It also includes development of protocols and workflows to concretise the collaboration components with internal and external stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate networking sessions with stakeholders
• Build and strengthen partnerships with relevant stakeholders
• Present the organisation's programmes and services to stakeholders during networking sessions
• Maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders through regular communication and review of existing work processes
• Support the development of the new CoC playbook and SOPs with stakeholders
• Review existing SOPs and implement changes if required
• Attend regular meetings and assist with preparation of meeting agenda and minutes
• Liaise with stakeholders to collect data for analysis and documentation
• Maintain a database of stakeholders' contacts, relevant documents and data-sets
• Assist with the preparation of qualitative and quantitative reports to funders and management
• Any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (Social Work, Community Development, Business, Marketing, Mass Communications preferred)

OTHER INFORMATION

Key Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience in project management, business development or relationship/ stakeholder engagement
• Good verbal communication skills and able to engage and network with stakeholders
• Good writing ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Able to work independently and is a team player
• Prior experience in social service sector will be an advantage

Job Details

Location: Lavender

Working Hours: 5-Days Work Week

Work Type: 6-Month Contract

Salary: Up to $ 3,600 per month

What you will be working on?

• Provide administrative support including scheduling, extracting of data, feedback collation and notes-taking.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of programmes.
• Monitors the utilisation of integration grants to ensure optimum utilisation to achieve the desired integration outcomes.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of grants in compliance with procurement guidelines.
• Builds strategic partnerships with external organisations to enhance and promote collaborative efforts in integrating new immigrants.
• Facilitates communication and sharing through focus group discussions, best-sharing sessions and annual workplan retreats.

What are we looking for?

• Singaporean only
• Minimum Diploma/ Degree with 2 years experience in Business Management, Psychology, Event Management or relevant discipline.
• Prior experience in event management and coordination would be advantegeous.

• Plan, develop and implement effective strategies to promote the Intergenerational Learning Programme (ILP) to seniors
• Recruit senior participants for the ILP workshops
• Process course registrations through the Training Management System (TMS)
• Manage administrative matters related to recruitment
• Assist Team Lead in preparing for the monthly report submissions
• Handle senior enquiries through phone calls, text messages and emails
• Travel down to the various schools within Singapore to oversee the ILP workshops
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors
