Are you a qualified and experienced Carpentry Lecturer or do you have excellent experience in the construction/carpentry industry, ideally from a site carpentry background. If so, this could be the role for you.
We are looking for an individual with experience in the Carpentry sector who would like to share their knowledge and their skills with the next generation and develop a career in teaching and training.
Working as a Teacher/Training Consultant involves delivery of Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in College and the workplace, together with reviews and onsite assessments in the workplace. Working together with Learners and Employers in preparation for End Point Assessments. The role involves delivery of theoretical and practical knowledge in college and in the work place.
You will use College systems to ensure student data, targets and all communication is well managed and up to date. You will have an enthusiasm for using interactive and online learning techniques to facilitate teaching, Learning and assessment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards including gateways and End Point Assessments.
Joining our successful team the ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Assessors Award and Level 3 occupational competence-based Carpentry qualification and or a current registration of Carpentry competence.
Holding a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential as training and the chance to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided.
You will be joining a supportive team, in excellent, fully equipped facilities based at our Luton Campus.
