Your new role
The firm's highly regarded construction team enjoys instructions from major regional and national clients ranging from developers to contractors and employers, advising on domestic and international Contentious matters. The team are now keen to recruit an experienced Construction Senior Associate or Legal Director who specialises in providing complex Contentious Construction advice.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have worked for a leading Construction practice and be used to running your own caseload of complex contentious construction matters, for clients ranging from developers to contractors and employers. Experience of handling adjudications, arbitration and litigation is highly desirable.


You will have an excellent track record of managing key client relationships and supervising and developing juniors in your team.

Your new role
You will be working within the firm's Insurance Litigation team, as a Property Recoveries Solicitor/ Legal Executive. Your tasks will include handling technically complex and varied caseload of claims, involving numerous perils, such as fire, flooding, and escape of water. You will also deal with public and product liability, policy coverage and fraud matters, relating to property damage matters valued at over £150,000.




What you'll need to succeed
You will be a recently qualified solicitor, legal executive or barrister with solid litigation experience with a leading commercial firm. Ideally, you will have acted for several large commercial insurer clients in fast and multi-track property insurance litigation disputes.


You will need to have experience of handling complex claims, ideally with a focus on Property Recoveries, though wider litigation backgrounds would be considered. You will possess excellent relationship and client handling skills. You will also be able to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues.
