• Conduct assessments of new and alternative sources for both raw material and packaging materials
• Maintain clear and accurate records of formulations, source evaluations, procedures, observations and results.
• Develop and manage formula qualification including relevant documentation for lab scale-up, and production scale up to pilot production for both new products and alternative sources.
• Conduct odour training.
• Conduct stability testing and other necessary tests such as but not limited to container-closure compatibility studies and maintain the relevant data.
• Perform odour and sensory tests for all relevant samples.
• Stay updated on new concepts, materials, and processes in medical and fragrance fields through proactive research on raw material innovations and emerging research
• Manage routine laboratory housekeeping and day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
• Stay informed about regulations related to active ingredient standards
• Any other quality and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant formulation or fragrance experience
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or formulation or perfumery industry.
