The new interdisciplinary school, School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB), formed by integrating the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) from College of Engineering and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from College of Science, invites applicants to apply for tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor level.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely aligned engineering disciplines. Postdoctoral training in the relevant fields would receive more favourable consideration.
The school is particularly interested in candidates with research expertise in the following areas but not limited to: membrane technology for water treatment, polymer, surface engineering, heat and mass transfer, electrocatalysis, flexible and implantable batteries etc.
The candidate for the position should have demonstrated excellence in original research, with good publication records and the ability to teach core chemical engineering courses. Entrepreneurial qualities are also sought after.
Emoluments
The commencing salary will depend on the candidates' qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered.
