A client within the Public Sector based in Nottingham is currently recruiting for a Voids Property Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a repairs and maintenance environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to deliver a first-class repairs and maintenance service through the management and delivery of work within Void properties.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- to lead, manage and develop the repairs and maintenance function for Void properties, including new business opportunities that may arise.
- co-ordinate all void maintenance, repairs and investment programme of works within agreed performance targets, to budget and within forecasted timescales.
- undertake and prepare detailed surveys of properties, the compilation of works specifications and program / project plans
- to lead and manage direct reports and is accountable for the performance of Operatives within Voids team.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a HNC or equivalent building qualification or substantial equivalent experience / track record of success and a driving licence with access to a vehicle
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
- Management and proven track record in delivering high quality repairs & maintenance service
- Proven experience of delivering continuous improvement to a diverse community
- Experience and proven skill in managing health and safety, mitigating risks.
- Ability to survey properties, diagnosing faults and providing detailed instructions and plans of works to facilitate the repairs.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £25 - £27 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
