An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Finance Executive to join our highly successful and market leading Residential team. Based in the Sydney CBD office, you will work across Sydney’s most sought-after residential projects processing contracts of sales for all off the plan apartment sales.

Leveraging decades of experience, our contract of sale and finance procedures have been designed to ensure accurate and swift processing. This role will suit someone who thrives in fast paced environment and is a highly detailed individual.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing of invoices including checking payment receipt & distributing payment remittances.
• Management of contract email account. 
• Liaising with solicitors, agents, and team members regarding sale documentation.
• Preparing weekly sales reports and generate price lists for Executives.
• Trust Accounting duties; banking of cheques, trust receipting and issuing of trust receipts.
• Processing of supplier payments and corporate card expenses.

1. Underwriting/Product Development & Management 

• Analyzing risks, preparing P&L and underwriting decisions, within underwriting procedures and appetite. 
• Develop an efficient set of processes that deliver creative, customized underwriting and risk management solutions while meeting the expectations of our partners. 
• Develop products, pricing, underwriting, and risk segmentation strategies for multiple distribution channels & partners. 
• Coordinates pricing and portfolio management activities for all distribution channels. 
• Maintaining and building effective relationships with existing and new business partners. 
• Undertake market and portfolio analysis to identify business opportunities, products, and clients.

• Works with marketing in the development of new product offerings. 
• Responsible for the management of accumulations and aggregates particularly in Cat prone areas. 

2. Compliance and risk management

• Ensure the underwriting and reinsurance procedures are fully complied with 
• Ensure the applicable guidelines are complied with 
• Understand and comply with the code of conduct and other regulation 
• Management information 
• Ensure the risk entry is maintained 
• Working with the Portfolio Management team to produce regular premium and claim reports 
• Updating internal stakeholders on the news or changes in the Reinsurance arrangement 

 

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in insurance and/or reinsurance industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage claims from notification to closure, process and assess the company’s liability and settle claims in accordance with claim department’s guidelines and authority limit
• Work with Claims Lead to develop, iterate, document and execute claims strategies taking into account uncertainties, key decisions, and potential outcomes
• To conduct file reviews or audit and assist in the resolution of any issues identified
• To identify process improvements, providing feedback to reduce rework or errors and escalate any blockages to the head of department where necessary
