Develop and maintain the policies and standards for delegated Risk Types which sets out SCV’s and individual Venture’s approach to risk management and the control framework within which risks are managed.

· Identify material risks (aligned to delegated Risk Types) that SCV / Ventures may be potentially exposed to and direct relevant activities to manage and control these risks within Risk Appetite for delegated Risk Types.

· Validate that First Line and Second Line understand and accept their risk management responsibilities for delegated Risk Types.

· Deliver requirements to support an effectiveness review process for delegated Risk Type Policies and Standards to confirm robust second line oversight and challenge and direct remediation actions for any deficiencies found.

· Deliver second line oversight, review, challenge and advice on delegated Risk Types.

Own and maintain SCV’s (and Ventures’) Risk Appetite for delegated Risk Types.

· Propose Risk Appetite for delegated Risk types for consideration and approval by the SCV Risk Committee.

· Monitor compliance to the SCV Risk Committee approved Risk Appetite for delegated Risk types.

· Support second line oversight, review, challenge and advice on Risk Appetite for delegated Risk Types.

Position:

Executive Director

Responsibilities:

• This is a senior management role at the Group’s level.
• This role is in charge of creating, driving and implementing the Group’s new business units in the areas of technology-enabled lifestyle platform, including multi-channel networks, e-sports, live streaming and others.
• Work with the management in the planning, budgeting and execution of the respective business models and business plans of the new business units.
• Establish the new business units’ respective go-to-market strategies, financial metrics, KPIs, timelines, growth targets, expansion plans, procedures, goals and policies.
• Build, manage and supervise new business units’ leaders and employees to ensure that the procedures, goals and policies are robustly established.
• Perform day-to-day managerial role in ensuring that the new business units are functioning properly and are carrying out their operations diligently, as well as monitoring that their KPIs and OKRs are met.
• Analyse and track performance indicators, financial results and reports.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and the Company’s policies.

NSCC is looking for a visionary leader with an outstanding record of accomplishments, at the intersection of computing and other disciplines, to work with Chief Executive Officer, NSCC to set the strategic goals and specific directions of NSCC, and to plan and direct the deployment of its next generation of extreme-scale computing and cyber infrastructure, in a rapidly changing landscape of high-performance computing (HPC) technologies, distributed resources and commercial "big-data" platforms.

As the Deputy CEO, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

• Review the annual workplans and budget projections for NSCC to drive NSCC’s objectives and directions
• Monitor the progress and achievements of NSCC, and its key performance indicators
• Fulfil the key performance indicators set in the NSCC proposal
• Oversee and manage the operations of NSCC infrastructure
• Provide leadership to NSCC staff to ensure that they make their best contributions to the organsiation
• Strengthen and initiate new strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including industry and IHLs, locally and internationally
• Coordinate alignment of strategic research and development initiatives at NSCC with the Scient and Engineering Research Council and A*STAR.
