About the role

Assist the GIA Director (APAC) in the delivery of internal audit projects through:

• leading or conducting performance, financial, and compliance audit projects.
• providing consulting services to the organization’s management and staff.
• providing key input to development of the annual audit plan.
• providing training and coaching to internal audit staff.
• maintaining all organizational and professional ethical standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Identifies and evaluates the organization’s risk areas and provides input to the development of the annual audit plan.
• Manages audit projects end-to-end from planning, developing work programs through drafting and presenting audit reports.
• Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.
• Conducts interviews, reviews document, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.
• Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
• Updates internal documentation on system platforms used by the department.
• Assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the board of directors.
• Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
• Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.
• Represents internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor in Accounting /Finance or related field
• CIA, CPA, CA certifications (a big plus)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in auditing.
• Big 4 experience is strongly preferred.
• International exposure (APAC).
• Travel Requirements: Regular (between 20 - 50 %)

Overview

In this exciting role you will work within the Group Internal Audit to manage or conduct IT audits in complex and changing IT environments.

You will be part of the audit team and be responsible to evaluate the IT internal control framework, assess the IT Security, review IT projects, perform data analysis and foresee new risks. Your tasks will also include thinking of new audit approaches (e.g., cyber risks) and the issuance of recommendations to address control weaknesses. During onsite audit, you will also be working closely with the business audit team to understand IT related controls over business processes and segregation of duties risks.

You will establish and maintain a close collaboration with IT and business key-stakeholders to assess accurately and exhaustively the controls and risks faced by the organization, particularly with the APAC regional IT team.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists in managing and performing IT audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures
• Develop understanding of The Adecco Group business and processes to support the Group Internal Audit business team
• Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the board of directors
• Represents internal audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings
• Performs related work as assigned by the Director/Head of Internal Audit
• Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers
• International Travel (mainly within APAC) up to 50%

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering or business
• CISA, CISM, CISSP certifications – or any other industry professional qualifications – will be considered as a major asset,
• Curious, pro-active and flexible professional with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English is a must, and other languages appreciated
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of IT (internship excluded) and ideally a proven track record as an IT auditor in multinational and multicultural environments (preliminary “Big 4” experience considered as major asset),
• Willingness to develop knowledge of assessment of IT and business Internal Controls
• Capacity to perform data analysis
