Job Responsibilities

• Use effective classroom management skills, coupled with effective disciplinary skills in accordance with school’s no shout policy
• Assist class teachers to implement programme for the class according to inquiry and reggio-inspired approach as well as school’s framework for culinary and outdoor experiential learning
• Assist class teachers to set up a warm, cosy, yet engaging environment that promotes self-directed learning in accordance to Reggio Emilia approach
• Carry out routine care of children in a patient and kind manner, creating teachable moments
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the children through good routine care and the necessary
• Build and maintain a professional yet affable bond with parents

Job Summary: As a Research Assistant (Applied Chemistry) specializing in Nanoencapsulation & New Product Development, you will play a significant role in our mission to advance active/drug delivery technologies. Your expertise in chemistry and passion for technology translation will contribute to the development of novel nanoencapsulation techniques and the creation of groundbreaking products.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research and experiments to develop efficient nanoencapsulation techniques for various compounds, with a focus on personal care delivery applications.
2. Formulate and optimize encapsulation protocols to ensure stability, controlled release, and enhanced bioavailability of encapsulated compounds.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (internal and external) to develop innovative, market-oriented products based on nanoencapsulation technology.
4. Perform characterization studies (e.g. HPLC, GPMS, DLS, UV-VIS, etc) to evaluate the physicochemical properties of encapsulated compounds, including particle size distribution & release kinetics.
5. Use statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE) principles to optimize and troubleshoot encapsulation processes.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nanoencapsulation technologies, products, and contribute to intellectual property development and patent filings.
7. Analyze and interpret research data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders and scientific conferences.
8. Participate in technical discussions with potential customers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, or a related field.
2. Some background and expertise in nanoencapsulation techniques is favourable
3. Familiarity with characterization techniques such as HPLC, GPMS and DLS.
4. Knowledge of statistical analysis and DOE principles to optimize and troubleshoot processes.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present scientific concepts effectively.
