Job Purpose

To evaluate, guide and advise Front Office teams and / or Management on credit matters. Maintain overall credit quality of Corporate Banking Asia Pacific portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of credit applications (such as renewals, change of conditions and miscellaneous applications), financial projections and spreadsheet, obligor grading and Self-Assessment.
• Handling of Cross Booking Transactions and Head Office Booking Transactions.
• Evaluate and structure credit facilities to mitigate risks, provide guidance to Front Office teams in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support Front Office teams in Problem Accounts Management, address queries and comments from auditors and regulators and implementation of audit recommendations.
• Oversee credit portfolio quality of Corporate Banking Asia Pacific through credit surveillance, covenant monitoring and due date management.
• Relevant internal reporting duties.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management or Group Head as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in credit analysis in the banking and finance industry.
• A team player who is detailed-oriented and has good analytical skill.
• Possess leadership qualities, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Job Description

The Analyst will support the Capital Formations team with liquidity and liability management.

Responsibilities

The potential candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of liquidity management and certain facets of liability management including: 

• Monitoring of actual & pro-forma cash balances

• Forecasting liquidity needs for various funds

• Tracking and maintenance of pipeline holdings

• Drafting of capital calls and distribution notices

• Testing for hypothetical trades

• Participating and leading portfolio construction process if we need to add additional debt, terms:  go into BCRED, select the assets that will need that eligibility; ensure the assets in guidelines lender requires

• Prioritizing aged trades for the loan settlements team

• Assisting in the preparation of senior management and investment committee meeting materials

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in an investment bank, consulting firm or an advisory firm

• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

Expected annual base salary range:

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
