Responsibilities

• Engages in outside calling to small business clients in and around the community delivering the full depth and breadth of products and services Key offers; Develop centers of influence and networks in the community to identify prospective client referrals with a strong focus on Small Business

• Facilitate strong partnerships within branch team and with line of business partners, focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship of current clients; effectively manage internal and external COIs
• Responsible for managing, staffing, and scheduling all direct report work schedules within the branch, including recruiting/identifying talent, interviewing, selecting the branch team, and successfully onboarding and training new teammates
• Deliver a consistent, disciplined coaching and performance management process by observational coaching, joint sales calls, growth and development, utilization of training tools, all leveraging our culture of reward and recognition
• Provide guidance and direction to branch team to ensure compliance of regulatory, security and internal controls, which includes timely completion of all branch operations tasks

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma GED, or equivalent experience (required) or
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience Qualifications

• 3+ years Experience in a sales capacity with a demonstrated ability to lead and coach a successful sales team. (required)
• 3+ years Demonstrated small business deposit/credit experience and familiarity with small business operations (required)
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts (required)
• Demonstrated understanding of consumer credit including loan to value, debt to income and credit reports (required)

Essential Job Functions

Sales/Service:

• Serves as the Trusted Financial Advisor to clients, functions as the Commercial Banking client “expert” and the go-to person for the client.

• Develops focused strategies for acquiring, retaining and growing select clients. • Leads all business development efforts for specific client and/or prospect base. Drives a focused business development effort by developing a clear and holistic understanding of the client’s or prospect’s business/industry. Analyzes data and topical information relevant to the client’s business and industry. Viewed by the client as a business partner (financial strategist), is able to share a valuable financial perspective. Prepares for client reviews, identifying opportunities for presenting unsolicited solutions/advice. • Leads and participates in credit processes and assumes ultimate accountability for all portfolio activities/issues ensuring sound asset quality, including underwriting, structuring and portfolio management activities. Directs the preparation of all Asset Quality Reports (AQR’s) and new Risk Rating models to assure accurate risk assessment of assigned portfolio.

• Familiar with evaluating/reviewing Ag budgets

• Resolves out of formula situations on borrowing base facilities.

Administrative:

• Practices disciplined use of the technology tools and procedures provided by the Corporation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 5 – 7 years of financial services related experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $110,000 to $185,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.

• Under the direction of the Manager – Portfolio Services – CMBS, the person in this position is responsible for servicing a commercial real estate portfolio in the most timely, efficient and responsible manner in order to protect the interest of investors.  This is accomplished within the parameters of the servicing agreements, loan documents, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.

• Monitor assigned portfolio in order to ensure compliance with specific requirements pursuant to contractual servicing agreements.  Institute and administer directives involving changes in servicing standards (i.e. establishing and implementing new technologies for reporting property inspections and financial analysis).
• Perform intensive loan servicing for those loans designated by investor or servicer as not meeting their standards for performance, as well as for those loans recently returning to a performing status after bankruptcy, default or workout.  Intensive servicing typically involves frequent inspections and comparable financial analysis in addition to administering rehabilitation/repair agreements and cash flow auditing. Make recommendations (both objective and subjective) to the Watchlist Committee regarding any loan that is not meeting established standards for overall property performance.
• Generate income through transaction fees and the timely collection of late charges and default interest in order to ensure the profitability of the Servicing Division and KeyCorp.
• Monitor and administer the posting of all loan payments in accordance with the loan documents.
• Monitor delinquencies.
• Review and process reserve disbursements in accordance with the reserve agreements.
• Review/analyze insurance certificates related to the commercial property to ensure compliance with the loan documents.
• Monitor and oversee the payment of all taxes and insurance as required by the loan documents.
• Calculate yield maintenance and process payoffs in accordance with the loan documents and servicing agreements.
• Input and maintain loan and collateral data in the loan servicing system and KCMWeb.
