Position Description:
Senior Specialist
As a Business Alliance Support Senior Specialist, this role will be responsible for providing financial and alliance support for various 3rd party collaborations and related transactions in accordance with Partner collaboration agreement and other ancillary agreements, i.e. Royalty, Milestones, etc.
Responsibilities include the following:
Prepare collaboration accounting transactions: including partner cost & profit-sharing calculations and true ups, royalty and milestone reporting, settlements to partners, monthly reconciliation of partner payable/receivable balances, financial reporting & presentation, and SEC quarterly & annual reporting and Footnotes & Disclosure requirements.
Facilitate and track divisional data submissions, (Global Human Health, our Research & Development Division, our Manufacturing Division, Corporate Functions Support
Prepare analyses for Partner meetings including Collaboration Profits & Losses, Royalty and Sub License Royalty Reporting, Net Sales reporting, ad-hoc reporting schedules in support of various existing contractual agreements and other ancillary agreements, including termination and product divestitures.
Assist with various collaboration (global wide) forecasts.
Support team with newly acquired collaborations
Collaborate with Accounting Standards, Corporate Function Support, Financial Planning Analysis, Business Development and Strategic Alliance, Consolidation Accounting, Global Human Health, our Research & Development Division, our Manufacturing Division, Finance, Treasury, Business Support Center, Tax, Legal, and 3rd party collaboration partners.
Support of external, internal and partner audits.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, and knowledge of Financial Statement Presentation, (Management, Legal Entity Statutory, External, and Consolidation reporting)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Advanced technical skills and system knowledge: Excel, COMET SAP, FCCS, FDM, FSA, BPC
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while producing high quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to interact and collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Strong time management skills and an ability to manage tight deadlines

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$101,100.00 - $159,100.00
