Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze newly published security vulnerabilities to assess their severity and potential impact on the organization's systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct proof of concept testing for identified vulnerabilities to validate their existence and understand their exploitation potential.
• Utilize knowledge and experience with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities to identify, detect, exploit, and remediate security weaknesses.
• Perform vulnerability scanning using tools such as Tenable, Qualys, and others to identify security flaws in systems and networks.
• Demonstrate a excellent understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks and their associated vulnerabilities.
• Utilize Linux operating systems for vulnerability research and analysis purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability research and analysis, preferably in a cybersecurity or information security role.
• Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and the ability to assess their severity and impact on business operations.
• Hands-on experience with running proof of concept testing for known vulnerabilities.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, including detection, exploitation, and remediation.
• Proficiency in using vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, and others.
• Good understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networks and their associated vulnerabilities.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or similar are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of Research, you will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore and London offices and gain exposure to the global oil and tanker shipping markets.

• Conduct fundamental research on the global oil and shipping market
• Gather market intelligence and identify key drivers of the oil and shipping market
• Help maintain our vast proprietary database and demand/supply models
• Assist in the production of regular research reports of the company
• Service bespoke client research and data requests
• Support internal brokers for business development activities

Education, Experience and Skills

• Strong presentation, communications and writing skills

Your Responsibilities

As a Junior ESG Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting RepRisk's growth and global reach by helping maintain a database for media sources, and analyzing and entering risk incidents from various media into the RepRisk ESG Risk Platform. RepRisk facilitates the identification and assessment of environmental, social and corporate governance issues which may present financial, reputational and ethical risks. It is used by investment professionals, financial institutions, supply chain managers, multinational corporations and compliance managers. The RepRisk ESG Risk Platform plays an integral role in increasing transparency and ensuring compliance with internal and international standards, thereby helping reduce risk exposure.

• Creating profiles for media sources and maintaining the source database by gathering complete and accurate information.
• Identifying and assessing risk incidents related to environmental, social and corporate governance issues
• Evaluating the incident and source according to our proprietary methodology
• Entering newly criticized companies, projects, etc. into the RepRisk® database

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct / assist to conduct an wide audit to identify faculty’s pedagogical practices and use of ICT tools in teaching and learning.
• Duties include the development of questionnaire items and online audit form, and coordination of audit schedules of all the Academic Groups.
• Assist to conduct focus group discussions (FGDs) with selected faculty.
• Duties include the coordination of FGD schedules, development of discussion questions, and transcribing the discussions.
• Provide additional background research such as conducting literature reviews, environment scans and collating benchmarking data.
• Collate, review and analyse data collected from the audit and focus group discussions.
• Assist to prepare detailed reports and presentations of the findings.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments pertaining to the research study.

Requirements:

• A university degree.
• Minimally 2 years’ relevant working experience, with a strong interest or track record in education research.
• Excellent conceptualising and analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills
• Experience in using data visualization tools will be an advantage.
• Highly meticulous and able to analyse / make sense of large quantities of information and data.
• High proficiency in MS Office.
• Adaptable to change, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
• Working experience in an educational institution is useful but not mandatory.
