· Able to assist in the creation of outline designs from requirements using a variety of design toolsets.
· Assists in the preparation of system & subsystem requirement specifications, interface requirements and test requirement documents by analysing, decomposing modelling and refining customer requirements.
· Accurately reports work progress and estimates to complete against work tasks assigned by line manager.
· Assists in the investigation of problems in the field or with the systems documentation.
· Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of tools relevant to the Systems Engineering function. Assist in the assessment of relevant tools.

Essential
· You will be studying for a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.i.e. electronic engineering, computer science, systems engineering etc.
· A passion for Engineering, Hardware or Software and in particular Integration, Validation, Verification & Qualification (IVVQ).
· A desire to learn about the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
· An ability to understand complex systems.
· A methodical and structured approach to problem investigation.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· An ability to work as a key member of the team.
· A desire to take responsibility for your professional development.
· Knowledge of electrical / electronic engineering and/or knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for producing, modifying or reviewing technical documents, reports, plans and spread sheets.

Personal:
· Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearances, then full Security Cleared.
Full UK Driving License advantageous
