Candidates will ideally be Chartered, but if not, they are happy to support Engineers to get Chartered. You will ideally have worked on large scale commercial projects in the UK and been client facing in design team meetings. You will also have mentored and helped to progress more junior staff and must be able to maintain and enforce existing systems.

Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist manufacturing business during an exciting time of growth. You will be joining a highly skilled design team working on projects from concept through to prototype and further into production.Your new role
Working closely with the design team and production teams, you will help to deliver cost-effective, efficient products that carry the vision of the creative team through to the final product. This fast-paced role will expose you to a wide range of projects from retail displays through to contract furniture utilising a wide range of materials (primarily timber-based products) as well as production methods, directly liaising with external suppliers to develop outsourced components.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a design related degree or similar, have a good understanding of production techniques and processes across a range of materials from timber panels to plastics and metalwork. You will have strong Solidworks and CAD knowledge, and an understanding of Adobe CC Products - Primarily Photoshop & Illustrator.
