Job Details
- Being a dependable, vehicle and engineering subject matter expert, contributing where required to support colleagues and knowledge management material
- Reviewing all vehicle damage repair estimates presented consistently and in a timely manner
- Investigating and challenging repair estimates where appropriate, ensuring adequate cost control is in place whilst achieving the best customer and commercial outcomes
- Constructively supporting, investigating and challenging external engineering assessors
- Supporting, reviewing and undertaking appropriate audit actions on suppliers when required
- Helping to grow our Engineering capability through identifying opportunities to continuously improve skills, knowledge and processes
Skills we would love you to have
- Proven experience within the motor industry with either bodywork and/or mechanical knowledge
- Must have experience of using Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems
- Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft packages)
