We are seeking a skilled Media Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and provide comprehensive support across various regional markets where our client operates. The successful candidate will navigate different time zones with ease and possess a deep understanding of finance processes across all markets. From cross-checking supplier invoices to tracking monthly spends, this role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Finance Processes: Possess in-depth knowledge of finance processes and regulations in all markets to facilitate smooth operations and ensure adherence to financial best practices
• Collaborate with Regional Markets: Interface with regional markets where the client is present to provide finance support, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives and compliance standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Community Management
  • You will work with social teams to do daily community management across FB, IG, TikTok, YouTube – responding to queries and comments with guidance from an approved FAQ sheet
  • You will do the necessary escalations to clients, when there are social issues that require further inputs
  • You will explore ways of engaging with the online community to drive higher interactions and build an active and dynamic community
• Social-First Content Creation
  • You will be required to brainstorm and ideate for culturally relevant content ideas, that reflect what’s trending across culture and social platforms like TikTok
  • You will be responsible for shooting and editing content using mobile phones and apps like Canva in best practice outputs
  • Content creation can be part of always-on content calendars or for on-ground events located within the Klang Valley

The Senior Media Strategist will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the Publicis Groupe Power of One for pitches and business development, while also leading external-facing thought leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate will inspire and inform internal and external stakeholders with the latest innovations and trends, setting and implementing ambitious innovation strategies for our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Orchestrate Publicis Groupe Power of One for pitches and business development, leveraging cross-disciplinary capabilities to drive client success.
• Support Strategy Director to lead external-facing thought leadership initiatives, positioning our agency as a leader in media innovation and strategy.
• Set and implement innovation strategies that raise the bar for client ambitions.
• Champion the Make-it Model and Playbook by ensuring consistent, quality planning output aligned with strategy and tactics.
• Inspire and rollout golden standards for disruptive, creative, and smart use of media experiences.
• Proactively provide data-driven insights that inform clients' business, marketing, and media strategies.
• Implement and rollout the growth OS tool and drive adoption of existing tools available to PM, including GWI, Quid, Scenario Planner, Experience Tool, and Meta Consumer Tool.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with key team members to generate new content or curate existing content for Client channels, including articles, photo galleries, videos, infographics, blogs, social media posts, animations, etc. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube) 

• Provides guidance and expertise on social media and communications best practices. Advises and counsels on innovative social content during communication planning. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube) 

• Regularly monitors and measures content performance. Work closely with analytic and insights team and makes recommendations to enhance content performance.

1. Client Management 
• Establish a good relationship with clients, obtaining feedback from clients from time to 
time, resulting in overall clients' satisfaction; little or no clients' complaints on major issues.
• Responsive to clients' requests in an accurate/ appropriate manner.
• Update the clients on new packages, competitive alerts, new media opportunities and 
follow-through on campaigns.
• Communicate to the team on clients' special requests (e.g. special, ad hoc report).

2. Business Partner Management 
• Develop good relationships with business partners (e.g. creative, media owners), hence 
the ability to obtain updated information (e.g. formats, guidelines, packages, deadlines) 
that contributes to the work objectives, value-add to clients or a smooth campaign 
placement.
• Ensure clear documentation on all communications with business partners.
• Ensure terms and conditions in media owner contracts are approved by supervisor.

3. Research & Media Applications Proficiency 
• Perform basic and advanced functions of planning/booking systems, both syndicated and 
proprietary, thus completing each transaction/ placement successfully.
• Generate reports (e.g. by medium, pre-and-post-buy, syndicated and proprietary reports.)
