Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems

Mid-level technical position within the Data Center Service Delivery (DCSD) discipline. Career path includes advancement to Senior Technical Analyst position within the DCSD structure and access to other technical support areas, or systems development.
BUSINESS OVERVIEW
The Americas Data Center Service Delivery (DCSD) team is the Data Center Site Management structure responsible for providing timely and cost-effective installation and maintenance services to Americas Data Centers. DCSD is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and re-engineering (as applicable) all distributed systems and LAN/WAN infrastructures in the Americas Data Centers. DCSD provides onsite, 7 x 24 second and third level support for the Americas Data Center operations infrastructure. They provide hands-on break/fix support to resolve infrastructure/operations problems escalated from the Enterprise Command Centers and/or System Administrators. DCSD is responsible for end-to-end management of all technical requests. DCSD is responsible for hands-on infrastructure support for all Americas Data Center disaster recovery tests and/or situations, which may include reassignment of resources to various recovery sites in the Americas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The DCSD Infrastructure Technical Analyst roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL “SUCCESS” LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS)
After twelve months in this position, the infrastructure technical analyst will be proficient in CTI standards and policies regarding data center installations and maintenance of the overall environment. He/she will be able to act independently and manage day-to-day activity supporting the data center (i.e. trouble calls, technical requests, change controls etc.). He/she will be able to execute medium to complex technical request activity and medium size projects.
KEY CHALLENGES (WHAT IS THE WORK/MARKET ENVIRONMENT)
The Americas Data Center environment is a fast-paced, demanding environment that requires a specialist to successfully multi-task BAU, technical request, and repair activities. The priority of “daily task” activity changes often in this environment.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS (KEY COMPETENCIES, MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, MINIMUM PRIOR SPAN OF CONTROL, TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Required skills include 3+ years experience in the implementation, maintenance and analysis of data center facilities, hardware, communications infrastructure, strategies, tools and effective troubleshooting techniques. Basic background on enterprise data center facilities and infrastructure environments such as PDUs, RPPs, network and SAN infrastructures. In depth knowledge on complex, Enterprise class inter-networked environments involving a combination of switched/routed/shared Ethernet, TwinAx (100GigE, 25GigE,10GigE, GigE, 100M, and 10M), token ring, SAN, and wide area connectivity. Strong knowledge of WAN technologies (OC-x, DS-x), subnetting and TCP/IP protocol a must.
Excellent communication and writing skills a must. Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems, change control, Project processes and associated tools. Logical problem solving techniques and associated experience in system, data center facilities, and telecommunications. Experience with project management. Financial Services industry knowledge a plus.

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing and in-stock and inventory levels; budgeting and forecasting sales; and assessing economic trends and community needs.
