The Contingent Workforce Senior Commodity Manager is responsible for developing the sourcing strategies for the Contingent Workforce Program Office. The person in this position would be recognized as a sourcing expert for global contingent workforce, would liaison with legal, act as Procurement ambassador to the business and integrate into the business to ensure a complete alignment and deep understanding of the business goals and partner in developing sourcing strategies. The goal is to be value-added sourcing partners to the business. This role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimize the acquisition, deployment, and management of temporary, contract, and freelance personnel across various departments and functions.  The position involves developing negotiation strategies, advising requestors on contract terms and conditions, monitoring cost and scope of assigned contracts to assure compliance, best value and validate/improve pricing. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing:

   • Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for contingent workforce categories, including temporary staff, contractors, freelancers, and consultants.
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their workforce needs, skill requirements, and project timelines.
   • Identify and establish relationships with preferred staffing agencies, service providers, and online platforms for contingent talent acquisition.
   • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with staffing partners to ensure favorable rates and terms.

2. Vendor Management:

   • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staffing agencies and other contingent workforce suppliers.
   • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance, including quality of talent, responsiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
   • Conduct regular vendor reviews and provide feedback to improve service quality and address any issues.

3. Compliance and Risk Management:

   • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies for contingent workforce management.
   • Mitigate risks associated with misclassification of workers, co-employment, and other legal and regulatory concerns.
   • Collaborate with legal and HR departments to develop and maintain proper documentation and contracts for contingent workers.

4. Demand Forecasting and Planning:

   • Work closely with department managers and project leads to understand short-term and long-term workforce needs.
   • Develop accurate demand forecasts for contingent labor across different functions and projects.
   • Align workforce planning strategies with business objectives and project timelines.

5. Cost Management:

   • Analyze and manage the overall costs associated with contingent workforce utilization.
   • Implement cost-saving initiatives, such as rate negotiations, volume discounts, and process efficiencies.
   • Monitor and report on budget adherence, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

6. Technology and Automation:

   • Stay current with technology trends and solutions related to contingent workforce management.
   • Evaluate and implement technology platforms and tools that streamline the sourcing, onboarding, time tracking, and payment processes for contingent workers.

The People Operations Manager is a strategic partner and a leader who oversees the Tier I and Tier II AskHR teams, ensuring that they provide high-quality service and support to the employees and the business.

The People Operations Manager is responsible for:

• Crafting and nurturing the evolving vision of People Operations as a function that maximizes efficiency and contributes to a positive employee experience.
• Leading the day-to-day operations of the AskHR teams, setting and monitoring well-defined SLAs and KPIs, and providing feedback and coaching to the team members.
• Cultivating strong relationships with HRBPs, COE teams, and business leadership, and developing a communication strategy to align cross-functional projects, increase customer service satisfaction, and resolve complex problems.
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive HR knowledge base, identifying HR knowledge gaps for top employee inquiries, and partnering with COEs to update and curate their existing content into one unified platform that is searchable, interconnected, and consistent.
• Identifying, leading, and driving process improvement, strategies, and innovation, and leading multiple continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying, standardizing, centralizing, and automating complex processes.

• Problem solving, thinking critically, and quickly identifying root cause and corrective action strategies.
