Overview of function, team, and role
The Sales Support Associate Intern works closely with small and medium customers and sales reps and delivers value by providing proactive and reactive sales support.
Project Description:
You will collect complete, correct, and validate customer data and requirements for quoting.
Handles cases according to regional case management guidelines
Manage quote generation and workflow for the approval process.
Assists with new customer set up.
Handles customer concerns between Sales Support and other internal groups.
Works on small projects in addition to everyday role
Follows up with customer on required documents and missing information.
Follows up on orders.
Assists with customer questions via email or phone.
Provides project management for pre-sale quoting activities.
Handles all changes and keeps the quote and documents up to date
Engages cross-functional teams to coordinate requirements against deadlines.
Facilitates SFDC opportunity management by cleaning up opportunities based on guidelines.
Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2024-September 2025)
Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May to September, depending on your school system)
Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
Strong problem-solving skills
Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software

This Intern position combines in-depth training and skills development with exposure to various aspects of Lonza’s Global Engineering Functions Department. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to support and challenge the Nissan Vehicle and Used Vehicle Sales & Marketing Division to reach better results. The candidate will work collaboratively with the HQ Controlling team across varied functional activities and assist with various financial analyses and reporting which results in profitability improvement.
Participate in the preparation of the Sales & Marketing performance report during actual closing/Forecast/Outlook/Budget Planning activities for New vehicles and Used cars business units.
Support the performance variance analysis and understand the main drivers (Models/ Countries Mix, Gross Margin and Variable Marketing Expenses impacts, Forex..)
Analyzing the evolution of Residual Value for our models and market tendency.
Preparation and analysis of Free Cash Flow.
Support Tagetik system improvement and participate in the deployment process.
Provide support to the business on strategic decisions and act as a key stakeholder within the organization.
