Job Description:

· Accountable for all assigned account renewal opportunities from maintenance and subscription renewals, from proactive calling, follow-up, closure, receive of PO from customer to invoice.

· All renewal opportunities have to be on-time, with appropriate planning of time period to approach customer for renewal.

· Manage all maintenance and renewal processes; maintenance/subscription renewals, customer database management, and work closely with Account Managers.

· Accountable for 100% renewal and renewal sales quota.

· Provide quotation and related documents to customers to renew annuity services, hardware maintenance and software or license subscription without delay.

· Keep accurate records of all renewals in the system.

· Must meet sales objectives such as quota and productivity requirements.

· Maintain account team relationships and transfers opportunities as appropriate.

Requirements:

· Possess minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.

· Have minimum 1 year of direct sales experience, preferable to be in IT System Integrator or Managed Service Provider environment.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Renewal Sales Specialist to join our team. The Renewal Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing the license renewal and subscription business, ensuring high customer retention rates, reducing churn, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of our products and services, and a proven track record of achieving renewal targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Renewal Management:

• Proactively manage the renewal process for existing customers, ensuring timely renewals and minimizing churn.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations to facilitate smooth renewal processes.

Customer Retention:

• Identify factors contributing to customer churn and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Address customer concerns and objections effectively to secure renewals.

New Opportunity Discovery:

• Continuously monitor customer usage patterns and feedback to identify new opportunities for product or service enhancements.
• Work closely with the sales team to uncover new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in a renewal sales or account management role, preferably in the IT services or software industry.
• Strong understanding of subscription-based business models and license renewal processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:

· Provide leadership to sales team in terms of performance, result-driven to meet sales target and drive company directions.

· Build deep and trusted business relationships with the client to seed and grow future opportunities.

· Build Sales Decks for Solution and Services, in Microsoft 365, Azure, Virtualization, Backup and Security like IAM (Identity and Access Management).

· Identify and manage issues and risks and act as an escalation point within the account.

· Manage and monitor account level risk dollar and budget; control costs to ensure maximum achievement of revenue and margin.

· Have a deep understanding of the business needs of the clients and developing sales pipelines.

· Work closely with the cross-team members to define the solution offerings & value propositions to maximise win probability in each and every opportunity.

· Report weekly sales commit and forecast, sales pipelines and activity plans to the Management. The weekly reporting culture has to disseminate down to team members

Requirements:

· Possess minimum Bachelor Degree in any discipline, with proven sales record, with at least 5 years of managing and leading a sales team.

· Rich network in the industry, preferably of minimum 5 years in an IT System Integrator or Distributor environment.

· Result-driven to work towards target and above.

· Strong people management and leadership skills.
