Job Summary:

Assisting the HOD with work planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and directing the activities of the Security and SHE through risk minimization programs for daily and during events to ensure a secure and safe facility, effective access control, security of SIC’s assets and a secure environment for the staff, clients, pectators and any third parties in SIC’s premise.

Job Descriptions:

• To identify critical security risk, SHE hazards and control weakness,
  process gaps for SIC business operations during daily and events.

  Continuity Program.
• To ensure and security and safety team performs the task given daily and
  provides reports as timeline given by the HOD.
• Ensuring the effectiveness of Security & SHE Management best practice
  for SIC in general.
• To assist and liaise with the consultants on revamping the CCTV and
  preparing the necessary documents. Ensuring the CCTV is always operational.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma in BOSHM, Green Book, Protective Management,
  Criminal Justice. or related.
• Background in Police or Armed Forces is advantage.
• Good in spoken & written in English & Bahasa Melayu. 
• Computer literate. 
• Well verse in OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 45001:2018 documentation and
  implementation.

Your role

As ourSecurity & Safety Manager you work alongside and deputise for our Security Director to ensure the safety and security of all guest, personnel and property. A key element of your role is Health & Safety, so you will need to be well versed in all relevant fire, liscening and Health & safety legislation. You will be passionate about delivering a quality Security service with a meticulous eye for detail, maintaining your team's standards through coaching and training in order to achieve the highest levels of service and presentation.

As a Child Safety Operation Specialist within the Trust & Safety Team, you’ll be part of a global team that ensures the timely detection and removal of content across the broad spectrum of online child endangerment, such as child sexual abuse and exploitation. Through close partnerships with Legal, Policy, and Product & Process teams, you will manage global time-sensitive escalations, and child endangerment incidents to protect our online community.

You will form part of a wider Public Health Consultant team and have generic Public Health Consultant responsibilities agreed with the Director of Public Health, as well as leading on Sexual Health and Health Protection as a specialist area.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong leadership skills together with a positive attitude who can work flexibly as part of a wider public health team. Whilst not essential, experience of working in a local authority setting, shaping and leading public health initiatives in a political environment is desirable.

Working to our Director of Public Health, you will have responsibility for the development, implementation and delivery of national, regional and local policies, developing inter-agency and interdisciplinary strategic plans and programmes to deliver key public health targets.

You will provide expert public health advice and leadership to support and inform an evidence-based approach for commissioning and developing high quality equitable services, across primary, secondary and social care, and across sectors including voluntary organisations.

To support the reduction of health inequalities with a particular focus on the Lower Layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) To contribute to the implementation of the transformation of health and social care in Kent Main duties and responsibilities: Ensure that the objectives set in the County Council approved public health strategies and action plans are met and prepare reports to influence discussion and strategic decision-making. Develop, lead and manage multi-agency partnerships across the health and care economy in delivering programmes and services across the three domains of public health. Use the application of analytical, evaluative judgements and interpretive thinking to find solutions to public health issues. Proactively identify viable partnership options and establish collaborative working options to find practical actions and deliver strategic input to reduce health inequalities in Kent. Provide public health advice for a portfolio of commissioned services ensuring the implementation of strategic priorities of KCC and the wider Health and social care system. Work with internal and external stakeholders to focus on required outcomes and work with the wider public health team to assure quality in all public health services. Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis and modelling [including health economics] to appraise programmes being planned or implemented and assist colleagues in the planning of evaluations for new programmes. Develop and motivate staff in accordance with KCC policies and procedures through day-to-day support and supervision in order to deliver a high-quality service. To develop public health capacity by raising awareness of the contribution to public health skills and knowledge in partner organisations and the local and wider public health community, including the local authority and voluntary sector, contributing to teaching, supervising, and assessing those training and working in the public health system. Contribute to the development of service specifications and performance management indicators as required for the procurement of Public Health programmes and services in Kent.
