As our client expands its operations in Asia, we are seeking a Logistic Specialist to integrate into their global logistics framework. The role is based in Singapore and entails managing key logistic procedures, providing active support to the sales team, and contributing to market development strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - SINGAPORE
Documentation Management:
- Plan and execute efficient transportation and distribution of materials.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of order processing in SAP system.
- Prepare and manage all import and export shipping documentation.
- Maintain vendor invoice records for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate courier services for document delivery.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee import shipments into warehouses.
- Update inventory records in the company's SAP System.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks in collaboration with 3PL partners.
Customer Service Management:
- Liaise with Commercial Team, Customers, and HQ regarding shipping schedules and deliveries.
- Process orders accurately and promptly.
- Provide logistical support to the Commercial Team as needed.
3PL Management:
- Coordinate with 3PL/freight forwarders for booking, transport, and shipping documentation.
- Monitor 3PL performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
Compliance & Audit:
- Maintain records of import and export permits for GST filing.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Business Administration preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office required, experience with SAP advantageous.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
