Job Summary:
You will work very closely with senior management of the company including the CEO / COO in the development of new products and improving front-to-back systems and processes. To be successful in this role, you would need to have a solid business analysis background and consulting experience, ideally in the financial services industry. You are required to be fully hands-on ranging from conceptualization, documentation of business requirements, design, specification of technical requirements for developers and testing of the applications. You will also be expected to project manage, assign tasks and resolve project issues.
Main Job Duties:
· Analyse existing business processes, identify areas of improvements, propose changes to senior management
· Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to identify and document current (if improvements to existing products) and future business processes.
· Documenting functional and non-functional requirements
· Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
· Ensure requirements are understood, agreed to and signed off at the appropriate stages in a project.
· Gather, analyse and document use cases, user interface designs and data attributes, where required.
· Lead and manage delivery of the business requirements at all stages (initiation, execution, closure) and in all project management areas (time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, procurement).
· Independently manage the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of project implementations to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed timeline, scope, budget and resource requirements.
· Raising any risks and issues.
· Support technical teams in requirements clarification throughout the project lifecycle.
· Participate in User Acceptance Testings.
· Proactively review company systems / processes as well as competitor products to innovate and continuously improve company’s competitive positioning.
· Performs other duties as requested by your direct manager
Requirements:
· 7+ years of work experience in Business Analyst role with project management skills.
· Experience in application programming ideal.
· Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, requirements gathering and analysis, business process development.
· Ability to facilitate the negotiation of requirements and needs amongst multiple stakeholders.
· Eliciting, comprehending, mapping, documenting, analyzing, testing and validating user and business requirements & specifications.
· Consultative and open minded, with highly effective communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent workshop facilitation skills.
· Excellent presentation & communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and work as part of a team
· Proven track record in managing a team of developers in a decentralized work environment model
· Highly proficient in MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Visio, and other project management tools such as Jira and Trello
