My client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Corporate Transformation Programme Manager on a Contract basis.
The role will lead on the scoping, definition and maintenance of the overall corporate transformation programme including objectives, programme definition document, programme plan, risk log, change control, resourcing and communications plans aligned to the council’s strategic plan and MTFP.
About the role:
Based in Central London (Hybrid / Remote):
• Manage the programme management office (PMO) for the corporate transformation programme providing assurance through regular reporting to the transformation board (CLT) that portfolios are delivering agreed benefits to time, quality and budget.
• Map and track issues and dependencies across the programme working with programme SROs and other colleagues to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
• Lead on setting and promoting an outcome focussed culture and effective programme and project management through production of best practice templates, coaching colleagues, and facilitating a community of practice.
• Manage and develop the PMO staff into a high-performing team.
About you:
You will have the following skillsets or experiences:
• PRINCE2, Agile PM, PMP, MSP, or significant experience in these areas
• Proven experience as a Programme Manager with a track record of managing complex programmes in a Public Sector / Local Authority environment.
• Experience of successfully leading cross organisational working to deliver organisational priorities
• Experience of developing structured plans and setting clear objectives that implements strategy and drives delivery.
What’s on offer:
• Salary: £500-£700+ per day inside IR35

To plan, administer and coordinate the smooth launch and conduct of each executive programme cohort including: the preparation of marketing collateral, the scheduling of information sessions, the registration of candidates, the scheduling of classes and trainer availability, the preparation of candidate materials, eg, updated trainer slides, the booking and payment of facilities, the arrangement of refreshments (if applicable), the proper availability and setup of audio-visual and IT equipment, the collation and assembly of the IBF assessment questions, the grading of assessment questions, the liaison with the IBF review committee to secure the final passing scores, the payment of lecturers, the issuance of completion certificates, the accurate filing of IBF claims.
To liaise, engage and regularly review the programmes with trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes to candidates.
To ensure that the curricula of executive and CFAI-related prep programmes are refreshed on a regular and timely basis and made promptly available to the lecturers.
To assist in reviewing and upgrading the infrastructure requirements—eg, CRM systems and question bank systems—for prep programmes.
To assist with the review, refresh, and update the lecturer contracts.
To assist with the development of new programmes.
To handle candidate and trainer feedback and/or complaints with tact and discretion.
To manage partnerships with funding agencies, accreditation bodies and professional trainers or lecturers.
Requirements
One year at an educational institution or working in a role of similar capacity will be an advantage.
Familiarity with handling various government grants, including the SkillsFuture Framework and The Institute of Banking and Finance accreditation, and associated policies will be an advantage.
Good inter-personal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently (in a fluid environement) and yet contribute as a team player.
A degree holder (with finance knowledge).
