We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Manager/Tourism Director to lead our Geopark Tourism Project near Taman Melawati. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in international business management and have a proven track record in successfully executing tourism projects. This role will involve liaising with government agencies, stakeholders, and project funders to ensure the successful implementation and management of the Geopark Tourism initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to promote Geopark Tourism and enhance visitor experiences.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with international partners, tourism organizations, and industry experts to leverage resources and expertise for the advancement of the project.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the tourism industry and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on them.
• Direct and supervise a team of professionals and consultants involved in various aspects of the project, including marketing, operations, and community engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance against established goals and objectives, and implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure project success.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events related to Geopark Tourism and serve as a spokesperson for the project.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and project stakeholders on the progress and achievements of the Geopark Tourism initiative.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of project implementation and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in international business management, particularly in the tourism sector, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, both domestically and internationally.
• In-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and best practices in destination management.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate with government agencies, funding organizations, and community stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to travel as required.
  Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages would be an advantage.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Academy Program Manager/Assistant Manager to lead the development and implementation of our comprehensive Academy program. This program aims to train and develop graduates who join our company, nurturing their skills and competencies to become outstanding professionals within a two-year timeframe. As the Academy Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing training initiatives, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure the success of our management trainees.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and execute a comprehensive training and development program that aligns with our company's goals and objectives, focusing on enhancing the skills and competencies of our management trainees.
• Monitor the progress and performance of trainees throughout the program, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback as needed.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify suitable placements and rotations for trainees within the organization, ensuring they gain exposure to various functions and business areas.
• Drive the seamless transition of management trainees into permanent roles within the organization, aligning their onboarding to business needs.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of the Academy program through assessment tools and performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement and program enhancement.

Cohort on-boarding and networking:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive co-hort onboarding program that fosters strong connections and promotes a sense of belonging among management trainees.
• Design pathways and activities that encourage co-hort interaction, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, creating a supportive network for trainees to learn from and inspire one another.
• Facilitate introductions and networking opportunities between co-hort members, senior management, mentors, and other employees, fostering a collaborative environment where trainees can learn from diverse perspectives. Organize team-building activities, workshops, and social events that promote co-hort bonding, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas.
• Encourage and support the development of co-hort projects and initiatives, allowing trainees to collaborate on meaningful projects that contribute to their professional growth and the success of our organization.
• Continuously assess and refine the co-hort onboarding program to ensure its effectiveness and relevance, incorporating feedback and insights from trainees and stakeholders.

Performance Management and Cost/Budget Management:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess trainees' performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide timely feedback to support their professional growth and development.
• Develop an effective qualification process that can evaluate the graduate skills, potential and performance in the 2 years program. Ensure the “quality” of all the graduates are up to our standards.

• Develop and implement individualized development plans that address trainees' specific needs, aligning them with their career aspirations and our company's objectives.
• Monitor and manage the budget allocated to the Academy program, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining the quality and effectiveness of training initiatives. Conduct regular cost analyses and assessments to identify opportunities for optimizing program expenses while maximizing the impact on trainee development.
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate contracts, secure competitive pricing for external training resources, and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Provide regular reports and updates on budget performance, cost management, and return on investment (ROI) of the Academy program to key stakeholders.

Program Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trainees, including performance evaluations, training records, and career development plans.
• Prepare regular reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes for management review.
• Oversee the Absorb Learning System and the Asia Learning Academy.
• Manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to management trainee programs, incorporating relevant insights into program design and implementation.
