- Provide expert technical advice to management and program officials on the interpretation of acquisition regulations and guidelines and their application to complex issues.
- Formulate new and revised acquisition policies and standards; and provide expertise in managing the Division's contract and data systems, including interpreting data and applying inductive reasoning to develop reports.
- Provide technical leadership in operations and special projects ensuring contracting operations conform to appropriate principals and standards, provides the required degree of internal controls, meets compliance and reporting requirements.
- Assess compliance of FPAC acquisition programs; plan and carries out quality control and testing of acquisition policy to ensure that the policies and programs are executable, transparent, and sound.
- Leads workgroups and teams while promoting effective team dynamics in order to accomplish assigned tasks and functions in support of the programs and activities of the organization.
- Participates in the development and delivery of mission area and division employee training on acquisition matters.
- Participates with the acquisition management team in taking an active role in the development and implementation of special initiatives related to acquisition, procurement, policies, guidance, practices, and standards.
