Roles & Responsibilities
· Source for new suppliers to meet company’s needs
· Research and evaluate prospective suppliers, negotiate price and other terms with suppliers
· Review and analyse existing suppliers on a periodic basis to ensure the company gets the most competitive price
· Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
· Manage purchase requisition and issue purchase order in a timely manner
· Handle daily procurement operation tasks
· Manage and track Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order to make sure the procurement projects are delivered on time
· Keep relevant stakeholders informed on the latest progress/status of delivery within expected timelines
· Liaise and coordinate with suppliers
· Follow up on the payment according to the payment terms
· Work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery and monitor stock levels of inventory items
· Ensure and promote compliance to company procurement policies and procedures
· Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
· Handle general administrative work (filing, answering of emails)
· Answering of phone calls, transferring of phone calls and attending to guests
· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management
· Prepare and process quotations, orders, invoices, delivery order
· Handle high volume of paper documentation in a fast-paced environment
· Other ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements
· Candidate must possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
· At least 3-4 year(s) of working experience in construction industry is preferred for this position
· Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work independently
· Able to speak Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Mandarin speaking clients
· 5.5 days week
· Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Good communication, coordination skill & positive working attitude
