Position Summary:
As a process development owner for Lithography processes, your job responsibilities will include the following:
· Develop and establish new Lithography processes
· Work with designer on new die/product design
· Introduce new products, processes and technologies, with the objective of ensuring process robustness and manufacturability, cost effectiveness and profitable yields, complete with post-release care
· Work and collaborate with internal and external global partners to maintain and ensure state of the art technology capabilities and performances
· Analysis and troubleshooting of process related issues associated with new processes/tools
· Establishing good process margins and inline controls including setting up SPC control chart as well as maintenance of Cp/Cpk performance. Performing routine reporting of project status as well as creating & updating of process documentations, i.e FMEA, Operating Instructions, Process Characterization Report, Control Plan, etc.
What You Will Do:
At Lumileds, the Lithography module is tasked with two major responsibilities:
1. Develop and establish new Lithography processes that include all jobfile creation
2. Access and discuss with designer on new product design capabilities
In addition to the above, the team also explores different materials and capabilities at outside vendors so as to advance the state of the art of Lumileds die using processes/tools that are not part of the inhouse fab. A necessary part of the job is also to ensure the correct upkeep and operation of a diverse tool set and associated metrology
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications):
· Hands-on engineer with a deep knowledge of semiconductor lithography processes. A college degree (BS, MS, PhD) in either Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
· BS with 5 years, or a PhD with 2 years, of industry related research experience.
· Experience working with III-V Semiconductors is highly desired.
· Fluent in design of experiment methodology and statistical analysis.
· Able to work independently or in teams to lead and participate in collaborative solutions.
· Self-driven, detail-oriented leader, capable of systematic work with excellent problem-solving skills.
· Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
