Reporting to the Country Manager, the Senior Consultant’s main responsibility will be to undertake Quantitative Risk Assessments, HAZOPs, Process Safety studies, while assisting in other environmental business areas in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.

Job Responsibilities

· Lead a team of consultants in performing Quantitative Risk Assessments and safety studies

· Project management and liaison with client, project team and government authorities as required.

· Demonstrate ability to undertake business development;

Job Requirements

· Professionals with at least 6 years’ experience in an environmental consulting environment. Working experience in a consultancy firm with exposure to similar scope would be an advantage.

· Knowledge of Singapore’s Environmental Laws and Regulations. Experience in regional audits would be an advantage.

· Strong analytical, planning and project management skills.

· Ability to exercise discretion on complex & sensitive issues.

· Ability to work well in a team with diverse backgrounds.

· Excellent reporting and communication skills (experience in client management is advantageous)

Job Description

• Design experimental setup and procedure that best fit commercial manufacturing conditions and carry out experiments.
• Ensure stable production through proper campaign management performing quality & technical risk assessments prior to production.
• Troubleshoot technical related issues during production by identifying the root cause and propose corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Design and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, production scale-up and mange technology transfers.
• Ensure that processes and design implementations are consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.

• Review existing department works and propose improvements from the viewpoint of knowledge retention.

Job Requirements

• Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry-related fields with 3 years of relevant experience in a chemical R&D or manufacturing setting.
• Experience in organic synthesis or process chemistry is an advantage.
• Experience and prior knowledge in enzymes and immobilized enzymes is an advantage.
• Willing to work in manufacturing business field with a combination of researching and engineering skills.
• Able to work in a chemical laboratory environment and wear required PPE.
