1. Work and lead junior engineer towards projects delivery with other layout and circuit design engineers to resolve any technical issues that will affect layout to ensure high quality.
2. Utilize EDA tools (Cadence and Synopsys) for layout design and all related verification items, perform all layout activities as cell and block level creation, edit and full verification.
3. Use state-of-the-art layout techniques for matching, ESD, latch-up prevention and parasitic reduction and work with an awareness and understanding of the process from physical point of view.
4. Attending all relevant project meetings, continuous assessment and reporting of timescale risks.
5. Where possible, use schematic driven layout and consider top level auto routing.
6.  Involve in review session and prepare all related document and data preparation for wafer tape out.

1. To manage the task of Quality Assurance for the products under his/her charge to ensure that the products, leaving the company meet the standards for quality set by the company.

About Operations Engineering Division (OED): OED is the central team that supports all Business Unit Design and Development teams, and other organizations including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Foundry Operations, and Test.  OED provides a platform for managing all process technology and PDK development for both Internal and External Foundry processes. This strong and highly qualified team (mostly MS/PhD) add strength in developing Test Technology, Foundry Operations, and Yield management. The team’s world class contributions lead to aggressive NPI strategies and continual cost and gross margin improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cloud based yield tool deployment, Foundry Yield Improvement, Datamining support for fab escalations and yield tool training.

The new hire is expected to:

1. Drive Foundry Defect Density Reduction.
2. Analyze gaps between defect driven yield and actual ATPG yield to improve foundry related process / defect issues for yield improvement.
3. Collaborate with foundry process, PE/TE and foundry technical manager to design foundry DOEs for yield improvement.
4. Work with foundry on the WAT / Inline monitoring.
5. Drive foundry yield and gross margin improvement.
6. Support foundry Excursion/ RMA data analytics and work with foundry managers and QA for hold lot disposition.
7. Support foundry/fab transfer safe launch data analytics.
8. Conduct D0 yield calculation for new projects.
9. Maintain detailed documentation of yield analysis, experiments, and corrective actions for future reference and continuous improvement.
