We require a Business Improvement Manager to join the ECG team to manage and drive the quality systems throughout the business, as our rapid growth continues. About the Position Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Business Improvement Manager is a critical role in ECG Engineering’s continued expansion. You will be responsible for optimising and streamlining ECG’s business operations through the establishment of efficient systems, processes, and procedures. The role will involve overseeing the business management functions of ECG’s operations, plus our demanding and dynamic resource sector project schedule, with a global array of works, and offices in 5 locations. Quality management of engineering works and systems is managed by our Lead or Principal Electrical Engineers on a project by project basis, with overall quality management driven by our Drafting & Design Manager and Engineering Manager. Your role is to work with the technical leads to drive standardization and improvement of systems across the projects, in terms of engineering deliverables and reporting. A strong understanding of Project Controls reporting is also key to success in the role. The Business Improvement Manager role also includes Business Intelligence (BI) management, Business Systems, and Process Automation. Key Business Improvement Manager duties include; Supporting the Executive General Manager by assuming primary responsibility for the improvement and standardization of business management / reporting functions across ECG Engineering & ensuring sound corporate governance is always maintained. Leading, coordinating and directing the delivery of project business service activities to provide effective support for all project areas, and continuous improvement of the project’s business management functions. Providing strategic and tactical advice to the Executive General Manager and technical project leads in relation to current and emerging issues which impact on the effectiveness, quality of project delivery and the achievement of outcomes relating to the business management functions. Deliver proactive Leadership in the development and fostering of a collaborative culture of continuous improvement across ECG engineering.
