Purpose:
As part of the Southeast Asia region expansion, we are looking for an Operations Project Leader to lead the operations topics for all the new development projects as well as the renovation projects. The Operations Project Leader will also be in charge of ensuring the roll out of strategic P&S projects such as SMILE projects execution and other WW innovation projects. The new hire will be part of the Operations department of Club Med Southeast Asia.
Key missions:
- Lead operation topics on new projects in South-East Asia responsible for the success and operational execution of the project
- Coordinate information between construction schedule / update and Product info / Marketing communication to Sales departments for construction and renovation projects
- Ensure the deployment of product and services quality new projects (CAPEX) such as SMILE projects in SEA resorts in line with WW and APAC priorities
Reponsibilities:
1. Operation Lead on new project / renovation in SEA
Operation lead on new projects in Southeast Asia notably in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Act as operations stream leader and mobilize the different stakeholders the production of deliverables for projects:
- Inform and manage internal contributors for the project to collect all the needs and requests
- Provide detailed product/construction standards
- Comment and validate master plan, design layouts & drawings, materials from Operational perspective
- Ensure design answer to operational need
- Provide & adjust staffing guide for programming/recruitment plan (HR)/budgets (Finance)
- Review the Business Case, POB and 1st year P&L
- Review OS&E list
- Organize experts’ site study when necessary
- Participate and provide inputs to A&D upon mockup room inspection
- Provide final product definition to Marketing on preparing product factsheet
- Notify the sponsor of any critical issues that need to be addressed through
2. Operation on renovation in SEA
For renovation projects:
- Coordinate with different stake holders: P&S, A&D, Construction the renovation program
- Provide construction manager with the information to complete the construction program
- Ensure design answer to operational need
- Steer the progress of the project and make sure the scope, the program, the quality and timeline are respected
- Review OS&E list
- Provide adjustment on staffing if needed
- Provide final product definition to Marketing on preparing product factsheet
- Coordinate the communication with Marketing team on renovation schedule, impacts
Resources to coordinate including design, construction, operations, HR, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Sales,
Marketing and Revenue Management
3. Deploys new product & services CAPEX road map
In line with with WW and APAC priorities, leads the roll out of product and services strategic evolutions together with resorts’ teams with the support of the regional P&S expert team:
- Oversee the implementation and execution of the projects
- Controls product and services delivery compliance with quality standards to fulfill promise with clients
- Makes recommendations to improve operations, product and services (in terms of organization, budget, equipment…)
- Cooperates with APAC P&S team to the definition of product evolution roadmap (knowledge of his/ her zone, benchmark, etc.)
- Liaise with Purchasing team to define the right product needs in the resort. Help to rationalize the scope of products & items we have in the resorts in order to gain in efficiency.
- Follows and analyzes indicators (eg: GM Feedback, weekly reports, local revenue etc.); makes recommendations, designs and follows up action plans
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Business/ Hopsitality or equivalent
- Mininum 5 years of relevant experience preferrably in Hospitality industry in an upscale environment
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Possess knowledge in Hospitality Operations Management, knowledge in Hospitality Product
- Experience in Resorts Operations is preferred
- Possess sense of Business (reading and analysis figures, realize b-case, P&L Management)
- Travel requirement : Above 50%
